Magic Fairy Gifts held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, to celebrate joining the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC).

"Magic Fairy Candles grew too big too quick so the owner, Kim Sorden, couldn't keep up with the retail side of the business. So she took over the wholesale side," said Lisa Patchem, who runs the retail side of Magic Fairy Gifts. "So I put my own little spin: I added some ivy, painted the floors, and added some more magical-ness to add to Magic Fairy Candles."

Eric Kittelberger, LACC Board of Director, presented Patchem with a plaque to commemorate the ribbon cutting.

"Longmont has been so supportive, so thank you very much," said Patchem.

Magic Fairy Candles opened in June 2015 by Kim Sorden and split into two sister businesses with Magic Fairy Gifts as the store front.
