The Longmont Observer is always growing and changing to fit the needs of our community.

Recently we added a job board on our website. Now you can look for employment closer to home. Employers are able to post positions on their own, at any time of the day.

We are now organizing Longmont’s City Council meetings to be more accessible for our audience. We are adding timestamps, from the list of agenda topics, to our city council videos on Youtube.

By following the agenda and clicking on the blue timestamps you will be able to go to the exact spot that you want to watch. Instead of scrolling and searching for the exact agenda item, the Longmont Observer has organized the meetings in a way that makes it easy and effortless for you to navigate. Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions!

This month the Longmont Observer is officially TWO years old! We are celebrating our anniversary on March 9, 6-10, with a Birthday Bash in our office, 356 1/2 Main St. Unit 6.

How much do you value the Longmont Observer?

As Longmont’s only nonprofit newsroom, our only vested interest is to supply you with quality, nonpartisan, community-driven, Longmont-focused journalism. But, we need your help. We depend on our members to help us report Longmont news and to keep our journalism available and accessible by all. If you value what we do at the Longmont Observer, please show us with your support.
