Longmont City Council to Discuss Coronavirus Issues at Emergency Work Session

The following is a press release from the City of Longmont and is published by Longmont Observer as a public service.

The City of Longmont will hold an emergency City Council work session at 3pm on Wednesday, March 25, to discuss the evolving situation associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

City staff will host the meeting virtually via WebEx so that council members can be briefed by the city manager and other staff on issues facing the City, the County and the region, while at the same time honoring Boulder County Public Health’s physical distancing recommendations.

An official agenda of the meeting is posted on the City of Longmont Agenda webpage

A reminder that City facilities are closed, but the public can watch the emergency work session by following the City Council meeting live from a computer or device on the City of Longmont’s YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/cityoflongmont/live, via the Longmont Public Media Channel at https://longmontpublicmedia.org/watch/, and Comcast Channel 8.
