Longmont Election Results - Mayor, City Council, & Ballot Issues

Wednesday, November 8, 2:17PM According to Boulder County Clerk, this is the "final unofficial results posting until the end of the 8 day window."

2:12PM For the Mayoral race, Brian Bagley is still in the lead and now has 9,469 votes or 39.96%. Sarah Levison has 8,904 votes with 37.57%.

For At Large, Polly Christensen is still in the lead and now has 10,956 votes or 27,72%. Aren Rodriguez now has 8,341 votes and is leading Alex Sammoury by 2.06%.

For Ward 2, Marcia Martin is still in the lead and now has 4,264 votes. She has increased her lead by .15% since the last update.

2:10PM Update!

1:17PM Boulder County Clerk tweets that "Last unofficial election results of the day expected around 2pm."

11:12AM For the Mayoral race, Brian Bagely is still in the lead, now with 9,188 votes.

For At Large, Polly Christensen now has 10,556 votes or 27.62% of the votes. Aren Rodriguez is still in second, now with 8,007 votes.

For Ward 2, Marcia Martin is still in the lead, now with 4,099 votes.

10:01AM Still waiting for another update from Boulder County Clerk.

8:30AM Nothing new to report. We tweeted to Boulder County Clerk to see what time the next ballot result drop will be.

7:30AM Good morning, Longmont! Election results are still the same as Boulder County has not yet provided another update since 2:15am this morning.

2:25AM We will be taking a break/going to sleep and will return in the morning to give another update as we get it. Thank you for joining us tonight and we will be back soon!

2:21AM Boulder County Clerk tweeted that they will be "taking a short break" and to "expect next & last unofficial posting late morning."

2:19AM 

2AM Nothing new to report. Still waiting to receive latest results.

1:05AM Based on our numbers, it took 2.5hrs to count 3,233 votes. (Total Ballots Counted as of 12:29AM: 78,190. Total ballots counted when the 10:06PM results were released: 74,957). Going to be a long night!

12:58AM Longmont Ballot Issue 2H, the public safety sales tax increase, currently has 12,784 YES votes (61.23%) and 8.093 NO votes (38.77%). We will wait until all of the results are in but it looks as though 2H will pass.

Longmont Ballot Issue 2L, the marijuana tax, currently has 13,140 YES votes (63.15%) and 7,666 NO votes (36.85%). We will wait until all of the results are in but it looks as though 2L will pass.

Longmont Ballot Issue, 2J, water storage bond (Windy Gap), currently has 10,907 YES votes (53.85%) and 9,348 NO votes (46.15%).

Longmont Ballot Issue 2K, which asked 2K asked if Municipal Judge Robert J. Frick be retained in office for 2 years, currently has 13,155 YES votes (72.58%) and 4,969 NO votes (27.42%).

For the Mayoral race, Brian Bagley is still in the lead, now with 8,169 votes.

For At Large, Polly Christensen and Aren Rodriguez are still in the lead with 9,269 and 6,937 votes respectively.

For Ward 2, Marcia Martin is still in the lead with 3,516 votes.

10:37PM Longmont Ballot Issue 2K, which asked 2K asked if Municipal Judge Robert J. Frick be retained in office for 2 years, currently has 12,603 YES votes (72.54%) and 4,772 NO votes (27.46%).

10:35PM Longmont Ballot Issue, 2J, water storage bond (Windy Gap), currently has 10,4190 YES votes (53.72%) and 8,969 NO votes (46.28%).

10:33PM Longmont Ballot Issue 2L, the marijuana tax, currently has 12,582 YES votes (63.19%) and 7,328 NO votes (36.81%). We will wait until all of the results are in but it looks as though 2L will pass.

10:30PM Longmont Ballot Issue 2H, the public safety sales tax increase, currently has 12,248 YES votes (61.29%) and 7,737 NO votes (38.71%). We will wait until all of the results are in but it looks as though 2H will pass.

10:18PM For Mayor, Brian Bagley is still in the lead with 7,814 votes. He lost about a 1% point while Sarah Levison, with 7,056 votes, gained about 2% since the last update.

For At Large, Polly Christensen is still in the lead with 8,872 votes. Aren Rodriguez, with 6,621 votes, has surpassed Alex Sammoury, now with 6,302 votes, since that last update. Close race!

For Ward 2, Marcia is still in the lead and now has 3,374 votes. Jeff Moore has 2,687 votes.

10:06PM And we have an update!

10:02PM: Crunching some numbers as we wait for the next update. According to Boulder County, as of 8:18PM 57,297 ballots were counted (in Boulder County). Estimated turnout as of 6PM today was 95,600. According to our calculation, we're about 59% into the election.

9:54PM: We are still waiting for Boulder County to provide election updates. It has been at least 1.5hrs since we received anything.

9:36PM: no new election results updates to provide.

8:41PM: Here are the latest results for Longmont ballot issue 2H, 2L, 2J, & 2K:

8:23PM: Brian Bagley is leading the Mayoral Race with 6,217 votes. Sarah Levison has 5,165 votes, and Roger Lange has 3,689 votes.

Polly Christensen and Alex Sammoury are leading the At-Large City Council race with 6,759 votes and 5,012 votes respectively. Aren Rodriguez is a close third with 4,894 votes. Two candidates will be chosen from the at-large council race.

Marcia Martin is leading the Ward 2 race with 2,502 votes. Jeff Moore has 2,068 votes.

8:07PM: Boulder county has not yet provided an update of the election results. Will update the article when we learn more.
