The Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce announced on February 7, that they are welcoming a new event director, Jessica Wanecek.
As the newly appointed event director, Wanecek's duties include organizing a full and varied calendar of business events in all industry sectors, continue already popular events such as Unity in the Community, Commerce Cup Open Golf Tournament, Jubilee Membership Celebration, and creating new events to come.
Wanecek said “…with 15 years in the event planning world, I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Longmont Chamber of Commerce as the new Event Director!"
Wanecek joins the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce after having served as the executive director of the Mead Area Chamber of Commerce where she organized a number of community events.
“Jessica is looking forward to creating amazing events for our members and the community,” said Scott Cook, Chamber CEO, “her excitement for event planning and the business community will be a great match for our team as well as our growing and diverse calendar of events,” he added.
