The Longmont Observer highlighted the work of HOPE in the Longmont community recently. They have informed the Longmont Observer they are currently in need of some assistance for one of their clients who's situation is improving. They also have an urgent need for non-perishable meals. If you can help please contact HOPE directly or use the contacts listed below. This is an extract from their recent newsletter with the information.
"A long-time HOPE client of eight years moved into his very own apartment last week. His unrelenting visits to the apartment manager, with transportation assistance and case management provided from HOPE, paid off. He has a part-time job, and place to live, and a lift in his voice and spirits that is off the charts! Please contact Alice if you are able to donate the following items to help fill his new living space:
  • Bedroom: double or queen size bed
  • Living room: lamps, side table, chair
  • Kitchen: plates, silverware, small kitchen table + 2-4 chairs
  • And two volunteers to help pick-up and deliver a donated couch
