A section of Ken Pratt Boulevard (HWY 119) and Nelson Road in Longmont will be closed on Tuesday morning, October 16, 2018 at 9 a.m. to repair a broken railroad line.
The public is urged to use alternate routes. A contractor for Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) is preparing a traffic control plan in which east and westbound Ken Pratt Boulevard will be reduced to one lane each direction near the crossing and eastbound traffic will be routed to the west (north) of the medians.
The repairs are expected to last about 6 hours.
