Sometime in the summer of 2018, Dutch Bros Coffee, a drive-thru coffee company, will be opening a retail store in Longmont which will be located at 933 Main Street.
When asked via email about the Longmont location, Dutch Bros Coffee responded:
"Thanks so much for your interest in our growth, we’re super excited to expand throughout beautiful Colorado! There are no firm dates for the opening of the Longmont location at this time. Please stay tuned to the local social media page for details about the grand opening as we get closer to finalizing that project. I can say that we are shooting for early summer, but exact dates will be subject to the construction process."
The Longmont Observer first heard about Dutch Bros Coffee from an anonymous email news tip. The tip included a link to a Denver Business Journal article which reported that Dutch Bros Coffee will be opening a location in Denver, as well as Longmont.
According to Boulder County Assessors website, the current owner of the property is BB Holdings Colorado, LLC. The principal office street address of that LLC is 110 SW 4th Street, Grants Pass, OR 97526, or the HQ of Dutch Bros Coffee. The property was bought on December 20, 2017, for $715,000.
According to their website, Dutch Bros Cofee has more than 290 locations and 7,500 employees across seven states. They are currently the country's largest privately held, drive-thru coffee company.
