Breaking: All Denver Metro Schools Closed April 17 Due to Credible Threat

A credible threat of violence has resulted in all Denver-metro area school districts closing. This includes the Saint Vrain Valley School District. There are no afternoon activities and no athletic competitions.

The Colorado Department of Public Safety in cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and officers from sheriff departments along the front range are searching for Sol Pais, an 18 year old white woman from Miami. She was last seen in Jefferson County.

She is 5 feet 5 inches tall with brown hair. Her whereabouts are unknown but she is considered armed and dangerous, and to have made a credible threat of violence against local schools. The FBI has opened a tip line at
303-630-6227, anyone who sees her is instructed to call 911.
