Your meteorologist needs a few extra hours this afternoon, so here is a quick-and-cloudy look at the next week+.
The blue lines (after the weekend heat) in Figure 1 are hints in the weatherunderground model for shots of cold air starting Monday and continuing through Thursday. There is another shot next Saturday night (not marked) as well. Chances of rain come and go in the models, so don't place any bets on those happening until we get a look closer to the events.
Like I said a few days ago, use the pools this weekend and find your light jackets for this week. Enjoy your weekend!
