Forecast Discussion:
The storm is underway this Sunday evening. I've had 1.5 inches of snow fall already - along with a good amount of rain beforehand. Rain changed to snow about 6:30pm - 1.5 hours earlier than I expected (but that is not TOO bad).
Figure 1 shows the snow and rain falling Sunday PM across the regions. Figure 2 shows that we have received about 0.2 inches of rainfall already. The yellow dot is estimated at 2 inches of water. Wow!
The longer range forecast:
We'll have another ripple in the jet stream move over late today - so rain chances go up briefly before sunset. Things get REALLY mild and nice until a very wet change arrives next Sunday through Tuesday and beyond. We'll watch that all week!
