Forecast Discussion:
We didn't much snow from the Sunday/Monday storm, but it was slightly slippery in spots headed to work. Longmont remained under 1 inch of snow, but western Boulder got close to 3 inches while the hills above Boulder got up to 1/2 foot (Figure 1). A very local, fortuitous setup.
Figure 2 shows high pressure owning the mountain West and the central Plains. We warm up until the next cold front comes at around the middle of the week. Not much more to say this time!
The longer range forecast:
Our next cold front comes in Wednesday night making Thursday quite cold again and kicking up a tiny chance of snow (another dusting?) which may occur overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Still, very quiet and slightly below normal temperature weather rules. Sorry, it has become a quiet, late Fall here.
