Police Report: October 12, 2017

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On 10/12/17, a Longmont resident in the 300 block of Quail Rd., reported that an unknown person illegally entered their vehicle and committed theft.

FRAUD

On 10/13/17, a Longmont resident in the 1700 block of Stardance Cir., reported an incidence of identity theft. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information and jurisdictional issues.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 10/13/17, a business from Wheatridge, CO, was doing work at the intersection of 15th Ave and Emery St. They reported damage to their vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

VICIOUS DOG

On Thursday, October 12, 2017, at approximately 1852 hours, the Longmont Police Department investigated a report of a dog bite that occurred in the 1000 block of Alta St. This case has been forwarded to Animal Control for follow up.

BURGLARY

On Thursday, 10/12/2017, at approximately 2141 hours a suspicious incident was reported to police. At approximately 2212 hours police responded to the 4400 block Redmond Drive. A juvenile male was arrested for 2nd Degree Burglary and 2nd Degree Criminal Tampering. Two outstanding juveniles were identified and a warrant will be applied for them. The case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

Longmont Police responded to the 1900 block of Logan Street on a report of a possible domestic incident. After further investigation, an adult male was arrested and taken to the Boulder County Jail.

AUTO THEFT

On Friday, 10-13-2017, Longmont Police received a report of a recovered trailer that had been stolen hours before. The owner had located the trailer prior to realizing it had been missing. The owner recovered the trailer. There are no suspects in this case and it will be closed.

DISTURBANCE

On Friday, October 13, 2017, at approximately 1255 hours, officers responded to the 300 block of Quail Rd in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, for the report of a disturbance. Cleared by Summons.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

On October 13, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 1000 block of Kimbark St to arrest a juvenile male on a probation detainer. Case is cleared by arrest.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

On October 13th, 2017, at approximately 1700 hours, conducted an ATL in the 100 block of 9th Avenue Longmont, CO. An adult male was contacted and arrested on an out of state parole warrant.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 9/30/17, a Longmont resident in the 2500 block of Sunset Dr., reported damage to their vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCID

On 10/8/17, at approximately 0400 hours, officers contacted a vehicle in the 900 block of Lashley Street which appeared to have been wrecked and was disabled. Vehicle was towed from the scene. Officers were unable to identify accident location.

VICIOUS DOG

On 10/11/17, two teenage girls were walking their dogs on leash in the park. The dogs pulled to each other and a fight ensued. Both dogs had injuries, one being major and needing surgery.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On 10/12/17, Longmont Police responded to the 400 block of Forbes Ct. reference a FDC to a vehicle/theft. The items were later found and returned. The incident was later closed due to lack of evidence.

PROTECTION ORDER

On October 12, 2017, the Longmont Police Department investigated a Protection Order Violation that occurred in the 1500 block of Sepia Ave. This case is open pending additional information.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Thursday, October 12, 2017, at approximately 1612 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to the 700 block of Fair Lane Ave for a suicide attempt. An adult female was placed on a mental health hold. Case closed.

FRAUD

On 10/12/2017, officers responded to the lobby of the police department to meet with an adult male who was the victim of an online fraud. The investigation will be forwarded to detectives for follow-up. Case is open.

VICIOUS DOG

On October 12, 2017, the Longmont Police Department investigated a dog bite that occurred in the 200 block of E. 8th Ave. An adult male was issued a summons for Aggressive Animal and Restraint and Control.

DISTURBANCE

On Thursday, October 12, 2017, at approximately 1917 hours officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Centennial Dr for a physical disturbance in progress. An investigation was conducted and multiple people were interviewed . Case exceptionally cleared.

THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 300 block of Baker Street reported the theft of a ladder from the backyard of his residence. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Friday, October 13, 2017, at approximately 1403 hours, officers responded to the area of Rothrock Pl and Martin St in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado for the report of a restraining order violation. Cleared by arrest.

WEAPON

On Friday, October 13, 2017, at approximately 1607 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department reported to the 800 block of Coffman St for a female with a gun. An adult male was arrested for disorderly conduct. Case cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 900 block of Terry Street reported the theft of his maroon, 1995 Dodge Neon from the street in front of his residence. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

CHILD

On Friday, 10/13/17, at about 1800 hours, officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 300 Blk of East 21st Avenue for the report of a child abuse. The suspect was located and arrested. Case closed by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 10/13/2017, officers responded to the Longmont Police Department to meet with an adult female that stated her ex-boyfriend was following her around town. After investigation, the adult male was arrested and transported to Boulder County Jail. Case is cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT

On Friday, October 13, 2017, at 2100 hours, Longmont Police took a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the 1200 block of S. Emery St. The vehicle was recovered by a surrounding local law enforcement agency. There is no suspect information at this time. The case has been closed due to a lack of workable leads.
