I realize that the Neighbor to Neighbor fund doesn't begin to solve all the needs that are present in the nonprofit community.

Below, please find information regarding how to apply for the Neighbor to Neighbor COVID-19 Relief Fund below as well as some helpful articles on the impacts to the Philanthropic sector with the passing of CARES Act.
I realize that the Neighbor to Neighbor fund doesn't begin to solve all the needs that are present in the nonprofit community.  While the fund is focused on providing resources to organizations that are involved in supporting populations affected by the outbreak, I know that many organizations not providing COVID-19 direct services are struggling in this current economic environment.  You've had to cancel events, reschedule direct appeals, and close your sites that once helped provide admission revenue.
While we can't begin to provide all the financial support your organization requires, I can provide support and advice on how to attempt to weather this unique and challenging time.  I welcome any questions so please feel free to contact me or (303) 358-4327 to discuss messaging and/or fundraising strategies in this current climate.  I certainly can't claim to have all the answers but even if you just need someone to listen, I'm available to help.
And, when we're able to safely interact and socialize, I assure you that the Longmont Community Foundation will continue to do its best to help raise the financial resources you require to accomplish your missions.
Be safe.  Be well. And, I wish the best to you, your friends, families, and our communities during these challenging times.
Sincerely,

Eric M. HozempaExecutive Director303-358-4327 cell

CARES ACT's Impact to the Philanthropic SectorIn addition to providing sweeping support for individuals, families, and businesses, the CARES Act also provides support specifically for the Philanthropic Sector.  One of the best articles I've seen that clearly describes the impacts is provided here by PGCalc.  You can also check out the summary from the National Council on Nonprofits Here
