Join The League of Women Voters Boulder County(LWVBC) for a fundraising event, which will include food, drinks, and inspiring dialogue around; Empowering Voters, Defending Democracy: An Intimate Gathering With Elisabeth MacNamara. Former LWVUS President Elisabeth McNamara will be in Boulder to speak about the unique role of the League in this political climate and our best opportunities to advocate in our local communities.

Elisabeth has a strong record in organizing volunteers to work toward the important goals of our time. She will share her experience in recruiting and retaining volunteers of all ages and backgrounds and in engaging diverse allies in our common goals.

Elisabeth is the immediate past President of the national League of Women Voters. She is a former prosecutor from Atlanta GA. She is in Boulder to speak at the Conference on World Affairs and has graciously agreed to assist the local League of Women Voters chapter in a fundraising event. The funds will support the LWVBC's efforts to get young people and minorities involved in the political process.

This fundraiser offers different tiers of support, as described below:
Platinum: $100
Gold: $75
Silver: $45

Payment can be made in advance or at the event. Your payment includes appetizers; cash bar available. All individual contributions over $20 are tax-deductible and will be used to advance LWV Boulder County’s voter service and advocacy work in our local community.
