Longmont Police Reports: Oct. 7, 2019

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass, theft, and criminal mischief in the 1500 block of 9th Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

 FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass, theft, and criminal mischief in the 1500 block of 9th Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time. 

FRAUD

An employee of an Longmont business reported possible identity theft in the 2500 block of Redwood Court. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time. 

INJURY ACCIDENT

On October 3, 2019, the Longmont Police Department responded to an auto versus pedestrian crash at N. 119th Street and E. Ken Pratt Boulevard. The pedestrian was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. This case is open for further investigation. 

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Thursday, October 3rd, 2019, at around 2240 hours, Longmont Police investigated a domestic violence incident in the 900 block of Grandview Meadows Dr. There are no suspect leads. 

DISTURBANCE

On Friday 10/04/2019 at approximately 0223 hours police drove upon a disturbance in the 300 block of Main Street. Three adults were issued a summons for assault and fighting in public. The case is cleared by arrest. 

THEFT

On Friday, October 4, 2019 at about 0500 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 500 block of 15th Ave on a report of a stolen trailer. The victim was following the vehicle that took the trailer. Officers found the trailer in a parking lot located in the 1600 block of Pace Street. 

PROTECTION ORDER

On Friday 10/04/2019 at 1108 hours Longmont Police Officers investigated a violation of protection order which took place in the 700 block of Crisman Drive. A forty-two year old man was taken into custody for this violation and an active warrant for his arrest for violation of protection order. This case is cleared by arrest. 

PROTECTION ORDER 

On 10/04/2019 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 500 block of Mt. Evans Dr., reference a child custody dispute. An adult female went to this address and left with her juvenile daughter, in possible violation of a child custody agreement. The female and juvenile were located, and it was determined no violation of child custody had occurred. This case will be closed.

On 10.04.2019 around 1800 hours officers responded to a cold criminal trespass in the 1000 block of Venice street. A report was filed. 

WELFARE CHECK

On October 4, 2019 the Longmont Police Department responded to the area of Valentine Ln. on a Welfare Check. An adult male was placed on a 72 Hour Mental Health Hold. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Sunday 09/29/2019 Longmont Officers were dispatched to a criminal mischief in the 1900 block of Ken Pratt Blvd Longmont, CO. 

CIVIL

On Monday 09/30/2019 Longmont Officers were dispatched to a civil issue in the 1000 block of Ponderosa Circle. 

WELFARE CHECK

On 09/30/2019 (Monday) at approximately 1755 hours Officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane on the report of a suicidal party. One adult male was taken into protective custody and transported to a local medical facility. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Saturday 09/30/2019 Longmont Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Pike Rd on the report of a criminal mischief. 

AUTO THEFT

On October 2, 2019, Longmont Police took a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of Main St. There are no suspects. 

HARASSMENT

On October 2, 2019 at approximately 1600 hours the Longmont Police Department took a report of a neighbor issue that occurred while both parties were in their vehicle at Hwy 66 and Erfert Street in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, State of Colorado. 

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday October 2, 2019 Longmont officers responded to the 700 block of Allen Dr on a physical domestic. One adult female was taken into custody. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Friday, 10/4/19, a report was taken reference a criminal mischief which occurred in the 1000 Blk. of Sumac St. The suspects are unknown. 

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

The Longmont Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit assisted the Nederland Police Department with the execution of a search warrant within their jurisdiction. All inquiries need to be directed to the Nederland Police Department. 

DISTURBANCE

On 10/03/2019 (Thursday) at approximately 1610 hours, officers responded to the 600 block of Lashley Street on the report of a disturbance. 

One adult female was taken into protective custody for a mental health hold. 

FRAUD

On Thursday, October 03, 2019, at about 1710 hours, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to a fraud that occurred over the phone on the 900 block of Tiffany Place. The suspect wasn't identified. 

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On October 3, 2019, the Longmont Police Department responded to a motorcycle with no plate parked in the 700 Block of Sage Place in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, State of Colorado. The vehicle was towed since it didn't have a valid plate. 

THEFT

On 10/03/19 an adult male reported his watch was stolen in the 1700 block of Main St. The victim later reported his watch was returned by the suspect and he (victim) no longer wanted to pursue charges. 

DISTURBANCE

On Thursday, 10/03/2019, Longmont Police Officers responded to the area of 9th Ave and Summerhawk Dr in reference to a possible disturbance. Multiple adults were contacted and the investigation is ongoing. 

SHOPLIFT

On Thursday, October 3, 2019 at about 2040 hours, Longmont Police dispatched to the 500 block of South Hover Street on a report of a theft. Upon arrival officers found an adult male and an adult female attempted to take merchandise from a business. 

SHOOTING

On October 3, 2019 at approximately 2141 hours Longmont Police responded to the 1400 block of Stuart Street on the report of a shooting. 

Officers investigated the incident and determined no crime was committed. 

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Thursday, October 3, 2019 at about 2330 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Olympia Avenue on a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers contacted both parties involved and investigating the incident.

On Friday, 10/4/19, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass, criminal mischief and theft which occurred in the 1100 Blk. of Judson St. 

The suspects are unknown.

A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass, theft, and criminal mischief in the 1700 block of Warren Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time. 

WARRANT ARREST

On Friday, October 4, 2019 officers responded to the 300 block of Lashley St in regards to an attempt to locate on a warrant. An adult male was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. Cleared by arrest. 

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday, October 10, 2019 officers took a report of a domestic incident that had occurred in the 600 block of Martin St. An adult female had come into the police department to report several incidents that occurred last year with an adult male. After investigation a warrant will be applied for. Case open.

On Friday, 10/04/19, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and criminal mischief which occurred in the 400 Blk. of 6th Ave. The suspects are unknown. 

FRAUD

On Friday, 10/04/19, a report was taken reference an identity theft which did not occur in Longmont. 

CIVIL

On 10/04/19 an adult male reported a burglary in the 1200 block of Cornell Dr. The incident was found to be a civil dispute. 

MENACING

On Saturday, October 5th, 2019, Longmont Officers took a menacing report from the 1500 block of Main. Case closed. 

CHILD

On October 5, 2019, the Longmont Police Department took a report of child abuse in the 100 block of Chinook Place. This case is open. 

WARRANT ARREST

On Saturday 10/05/2019 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Frontage Rd and S Sunset St in reference to a suspicious. An adult male was contacted and later arrested for active warrants. Cleared by Arrest. 

DRUG VIOLATION

On Monday, September 23 2019, Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of Main Street in reference to a report of a 26 year old male suspected of distributing narcotics. 

AUTO THEFT

On Monday, September 30, 2019, Longmont Police took a report of a stolen and recovered vehicle. 

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, Longmont Police took a report of a suspicious incident in the zero hundred block of 4th Ave. 

WARRANT ARREST

On Thursday 10/03/2019 at approximately 1621 hrs, Officers were dispatched to 2514 Main St (Wal-Mart) in the City of Longmont, regarding a shoplift with a juvenile male and an adult female. Officers learned the juvenile male had a warrant for his arrest. Officers later placed the adult female and juvenile male into custody. The adult female was later transported to Boulder County Jail, and the juvenile male was released to a guardian on bond. 

WARRANT ARREST 

On Thursday 100319 at approximately 1749 hours, the Longmont Police Department stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of Columbine Pl. One juvenile male was arrested on an outstanding warrant without incident. Case cleared by arrest. 

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Friday, October 4, 2019, officers responded to the area of E Rogers Rd and Sugarmill Rd on report of a hit and run accident. The case is open. 

BURGLARY

On Friday 10/04/2019 at approximately 1126 hrs, Officers were dispatched to 2100 block of North Shore Dr in the City of Longmont regarding a suspicious incident. Officers learned an adult male party attempted to steal a bicycle from an open garage. Suspect was chased away by homeowner. This case is still under further investigation. 

BURGLARY

On Friday 10/04/2019 at approximately 1126 hrs, Officers were dispatched to 2100 block of North Shore Dr in the City of Longmont regarding a suspicious incident. Officers learned an adult male party attempted to steal a bicycle from an open garage. Suspect was chased away by homeowner. Later, it was learned this same adult male is possibly involved in a burglary in the 3100 block of Marlin Dr. This case is still under further investigation. 

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont male was bit by his roommates dog. The owner was warned and the dog put on quarantine. 

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Friday, 10/04/19 at approximately 1421 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the area of S Martin St and Ken Pratt Blvd in reference to a hit and run property damage crash. A suspect driver was identified and charges are pending. 

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 10/04/2019, Longmont officers responded to the 700 block of Grandview Meadows Drive on a report of a domestic incident involving one adult male and one adult female. 

BURGLARY

On 100519, officers responded to the 2000 block of Collyer St reference a burglary with an adult male and female victim. 

FRAUD

On Saturday, October 5, 2019, at approximately 1300 hours, Longmont Police Officers took a report in the 2200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd in regards to a fraud. 

WELFARE CHECK

On October 5, 2019 the Longmont Police Department responded to the area of 15th Ave. and Gay St. on a female who was "twitching" in the roadway. The female was contacted and placed on a mental health hold. 

DRUNK

On 10/05/19 an adult male was placed on a mental health hold and transported to LUH from the 1600 block of Main St. 

AUTO THEFT

On 10/06/2019, Longmont Police received information referencing a cold motor vehicle theft occurring in the 700 block of Weaver Park Rd. Police collected the available information, and no arrests have been made as of the time of this report. No suspects have yet been identified. 

ARSON

On Sunday 10/06/2019 Longmont Officers were dispatched to a criminal mischief in the 800 block of Widgeon Circle. Three juvenile females were taken into custody. 

DISTURBANCE

On Sunday, 10/6/2019 Longmont Police Officers responded to the area of Kensington Park in reference to a possible disturbance. A juvenile male and an adult male were contacted and a report was taken. 

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Sunday, October 6th, 2019, Longmont Officers took a report of a vehicle trespass on the 2500 block of Main. Case open. 

WARRANT ARREST

On Saturday October 5, 2019 at approximately 1335 hours an officer was dispatched to a business in the 500 block of S Hover St reference a possible theft. An adult female was contacted and found to have a failure to appear warrant for a traffic offense. The female was provided with a new court date to appear. 

MENACING

On Saturday, October 5, 2019, Longmont Police responded to the area of 9th Ave. and Hover St. on a report of a menacing road rage incident. 

An adult male is suspect and was cited for traffic charges. 

DEATH

On 10/06/2019, Longmont officers responded to the 2000 block of Collyer Street on a medical assist. One adult female was transported to Longmont United Hospital. 

VICIOUS DOG

Animal control was dispatched to a dog bite. The dog was located and put on quarantine. 

VICIOUS DOG

Two dogs got into a fight and one owner was bit while separating the dogs. The dog that bit was put on quarantine. 

SHOOTING

On Sunday, October 06, 2019, at approximately 1600 hours, Longmont Police Officers responded to a male cleaning his firearm and the gun accidentally went off sending a single round through the floor, at the 2000 block of Zlaten Drive. No injuries. 

THEFT

On Sunday, October 6, 2019, Police were contacted reference a business theft from last week on the 300 block of Main St. An adult male took an employee's tip money. The case is currently open. 

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday, 10/06/2019 Longmont Police Officers responded to the area of Mountain View Ave and Tulip St in reference to a possible Domestic Violence incident. An adult female and and an adult male were contacted and a report was taken. 

WARRANT ARREST

On Sunday, 10/06/2019 Longmont Police Officers responded to the area of Tulip St and Mountain View Ave in reference to a party on scene with active arrest warrants. An adult male was contacted and later arrested without incident. Cleared by Arrest. 

INFORMATION

On 100719, officers responded to the 1200 block of Pace St reference a run-away juvenile female who returned home.
