Longmont Police Report: Oct. 3, 2019

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass and theft in the area of Renaissance Drive and Pike Road. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time. 

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass, theft, and criminal mischief in the 1800 block of Spencer Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time. 

FRAUD

On Wednesday, 10/2/19, a report was taken reference a fraud and theft which occurred in the 1600 Blk. of Pace St. The case is under investigation. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 10/2/19 Longmont Police responded to the 600 block of Peck Dr. reference a criminal mischief to a parked vehicle. 

SHOPLIFT

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at approximately 1557 hours, officers responded to the 500 block of South Hover Street on a shoplifter in custody. 

Officers determined that an adult female left a business in the area without pay for approximately $226.00 worth of merchandise. The merchandise was recovered and the female was issued a summons for theft. 

The case is cleared by arrest. 

INJURY ACCIDENT

On 9/28/2019 officers responded to an injury accident at 11th Ave and Kimbark St. Multiple cars were involved. An investigation was completed and the case is closed. 

INJURY ACCIDENT

On Monday, 09/30/19 at approximately 1633 hours, Longmont Police responded to an officer involved injury accident at S Main St and Ken Pratt Blvd. The Boulder Police Department took over the investigation. 

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont, CO business located in the 2500 block of Main Street reported a theft of merchandise.

On Tuesday October 1, 2019 Longmont officers received a phone call regarding a stolen license plate off a vehicle parked in the 2200 block of Main St. The plate information was entered into a law enforcement database as stolen. No suspect information at this time. 

THEFT

On October 1, 2019, a Longmont Police Officer was dispatched to a phone report of theft from the 1400 block of Dry Creek Dr. There are no suspects at this time. 

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at about 0033 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 10 block of Gardner Drive on a report of a suicidal adult male. Upon arrival officers took an adult male into protective custody and transported him to a local hospital for an evaluation. 

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at approximately 0730 hours, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of E. Ken Pratt Blvd on a hit and run accident. Officers contacted an Adult male who was taken into custody for DUI. This case was cleared by arrest. 

DEATH

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, officers responded to the 1300 block of Carnation Circle in response to a medical assist. An investigation was conducted and the party was confirmed deceased. 

GRAFFITI

An adult male reported he found graffiti on the front of his residence in the 2900 block of Dunes Ct. 

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman was bitten while jogging in the 1400 block of Drake Street. The dog owner was warned and the dog placed on home quarantine. 

HARASSMENT

On Wednesday October 2, 2019 Longmont officers received a call about an adult male harassing an adult female in the 200 block of Emery St. A report was taken to document messages from the male. 

DISTURBANCE

On 10/02/2019 The Longmont Police Department responded to the 700 block of Megan Ct., reference an alleged assault. An adult female alleged she had been assaulted by her adult female roommate. Officers conducted an investigation and were able to develop sufficient evidence to support criminal charges, however the victim declined prosecution. The suspect was warned, and officers cleared the scene. 

ASSAULT

On October 2, 2019, the Longmont Police Department investigated an assault in the 1600 block of Hover Street. This case is open.
