FRAUD

A Longmont resident in the 1300 block of Emery Street reported a theft of money via a romance scam. The case status is closed due to a lack of viable suspect information.

AUTO THEFT

On Wednesday, 5/01/19 at 1021 hours, Longmont police officers took four adults into custody in the 2600 block of Penhurst Circle for a series of auto thefts, and first degree criminal trespasses which had taken place. This case was cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY

The Longmont Police Department investigated a burglary in the northeast part of the city. This case is open.

WELFARE CHECK

On Wednesday, May 1, 2019, a welfare check was called in at the 2000 block of Zlaten Drive. There was no crime and a report was forwarded to the Boulder County Department of Social Services for information.

DISTURBANCE

On January 17, 2019, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 5000 block of Clover Basin Dive. on the report of a disturbance. An adult male was placed on a 72-hour mental health hold.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On April 26, 2019, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Pace Street on the report of a welfare check. An adult female was placed on a 72-hour mental health hold.

WELFARE CHECK

On April 26, 2019, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Main Street on a welfare check. An adult female was placed on a mental health hold.

SHOPLIFT

On April 28, 2019, Longmont officers responded to a business in the 2500 block of Main Street in reference to a shoplift in progress. An adult male was concealing items while walking through the store. He was contacted and issued a summons. The case was cleared by arrest.

FRAUD

On April 30, 2019, Longmont officers took a report of a fraud in the 1000 block of Main Street. An unknown male used fake $100 bills to purchase items. This case is closed as there is no suspect information.

ABANDON/PARKING

On 5/01/19 at approximately 0000 hours, officers were conducting routine patrol in the 3000 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard where they found a junked vehicle. The vehicle was impounded for safekeeping. This case is closed.

HARASSMENT

On 5/1/19, officers responded to the 600 block of South Emery Street on the report of a disturbance. An adult female stated and adult male pushed her. She did not want to pursue charges. As of the time of this report, the suspect who left the scene had not been identified. This case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

On Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at about 0612 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the area of East 17th Avenue and Pace Street on a report of an attempted motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival officers found two adult males attempted to take a person's vehicle that was left running and fled on foot after they were unable to take the vehicle. This case is open.

THEFT

The employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 2200 block of Squires Court. This case is open.

THEFT

On Wednesday, 5/01/19, a report was taken in reference to a theft which occurred in the 300 block of South Sunset Street. This case is closed as suspects are unknown.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Wednesday, May 1, 2019, officers responded to the 500 block of Martin Street in response to a suspicious situation. An investigation was conducted and the case is closed pending development of new leads.

WARRANT ARREST

On May 1, 2019, Longmont police officers responded to the 1000 block of Main Street for a warrant arrest. Police contacted an adult male and he was taken into custody. This case is closed.

FRAUD

A Longmont resident reported identity theft which did not occur in Longmont. This case was closed due to a lack of suspect information.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On 5/1/19, officers took a report regarding an attempted auto theft in the 1100 block of Kimbark St. An adult male attempted to take a vehicle which had an adult female in the driver's seat while it was parked. The male left in a red Chevy Cobalt. There are no identifiable suspects at this time. This case is closed.
