Longmont Police Report: March 6 & 7, 2020

3/5/2020 200001968 HARASSMENT 1911 On 03/05/2020, Longmont Police took a report of a cyber related harassment that occurred in the 900 block of Quartz Ct. An adult male was receiving messages on the Discord app that were threatening in nature.

3/5/2020 200001968 HARASSMENT 1911 On 03/05/2020, Longmont Police took a report of a cyber related harassment that occurred in the 900 block of Quartz Ct. An adult male was receiving messages on the Discord app that were threatening in nature. This case is currently under investigation. 

3/6/2020 200002036 ASSAULT 1911 On 03/06/2020, Longmont Police responded to report of a dusturbance in the 800 block of S Pratt Pkwy. Two adult males were in an argument, and one of them assaulted the other. The victim did not want charges filed. 

3/6/2020 200002038 PROTECTION ORDER 1911 On 03/06/2020, Longmont Police were dispatched to a report of a protection order violation. A protected adult female reported being contacted by a restrained adult male. This case is currently under investigation. 

3/7/2020 200002046 INJURY ACCIDENT 1707 On March 7th, 2020, Officers responded to the intersection of 11th AVE and Collyer Street on report of a hit and run crash. An unknown adult male in a silver truck collided with an adult female bicyclist causing serious bodily injury before fleeing the area. No further suspect information is available at this time. 

3/7/2020 200002049 THEFT 1411 On 03/07/2020 a Longmont, CO resident in the 1700 block of Longs Peak Ave reported her license plate stolen. There are no investigative leads. 

3/7/2020 200002050 DOMESTIC INCIDENT 2004 On 3/7/2020 Longmont Police responded to the front counter of the Longmont Department of Public Safety, 225 Kimbark St., Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado in reference to a belated domestic disturbance. Information was obtained and no arrests have been made at this time. 

3/7/2020 200002053 OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 1604 On 03/07/2020 officers responded to the lobby of the police department to speak with an adult female who was involved in a domestic violence incident in Pueblo,CO. A report was taken and forwarded to Pueblo Police Department for follow up.

3/6/2020 200017760 200002010 ASSIST 0706 On March 6, 2020 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Grant Ct. on a medical assist. An adult male was left on scene in his home after a medical check. Adult Protective Services has been notified. 

3/6/2020 200017809 200002014 SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 0706 On March 6, 2020 the Longmont Police Department investigated a disturbance in the 1500 block of Kempton Ct. An adult male was taken into protective custody while criminal charges were being investigated. 

3/6/2020 200017812 200002015 ANIMAL COMPLAINT 10C18 A Longmont male was pet sitting and was bit by the cat, the cat will be placed on quarantine at home. 

3/6/2020 200017828 200002019 ANIMAL COMPLAINT 10C18 A staff member of a vet clinic was bit by a cat. The cat has been quarantined at home. 

3/6/2020 200017830 200002018 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2005 On Friday, 03/06/2020, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 10 block of 4th Avenue for a disturbance. An adult male was contacted in the area. After the completion of the investigation, the adult male was given a summons for harassment. 

3/6/2020 200017839 200002021 INJURY ACCIDENT 1707 

3/6/2020 200017844 200002023 ANIMAL COMPLAINT 10C18 A loose dog got into the backyard of two other dogs and was killed. 

3/6/2020 200017882 200002030 ANIMAL COMPLAINT 10C18 A vet tech was bit by a cat, the cat was placed on quarantine at home. 

3/6/2020 200017897 200002034 OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 1713 On Friday, March 6, 2020 at about 1750 hours, Longmont Police Officer were dispatched to an attempt to locate. The individual was located and later taken to the Boulder County Jail. 

3/7/2020 200018008 200002042 MENACING 1702 On March 7, 2020 at approximately 0150 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 900 block of Lashley Street on the report of a menacing. Officers obtained available information. 

3/7/2020 200018010 200002043 DUI 1710 On Saturday, 03/07/2020 Longmont Police Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Boston Ave and Martin St. An adult female was contacted and later arrested for DUI. Cleared by arrest. 

3/7/2020 200018013 200002041 DOMESTIC INCIDENT 1905 On March 7, 2020 Officers responded to the 700 block of Baker St on report of a domestic incident. This case is under investigation. 

3/7/2020 200018015 200002044 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1806 On Saturday, March 7th, 2020, at around 0302 hours, Longmont Police responded to a burglary alarm in the 400 block of Lashley St. A broken glass door was located but the store was not entered. This case remains open. 

3/7/2020 200018030 200002045 DOMESTIC INCIDENT 2004 On 3/7/2020 Longmont Police responded to a domestic disturbance at the 700 block of Baker St., Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado. An investigation ensued and an adult male was arrested. 

3/7/2020 200018044 200002048 ASSAULT 1410 On 03/07/2020 Longmont Police receieved a report regarding an at-risk adult involving a possible on-going assault between a client and a therapist. The report was unfounded and this case will be closed. APS and Detectives were notified of the incident. 

3/7/2020 200018088 200002052 PEDESTRIAN CONTACT 1604 On March 7, 2020 the Longmont Police Department made contact with a male who was walking in the middle of the roadway. The male would not exit the roadway and was placed on a 72 hour mental health hold. 

3/7/2020 200018111 200002055 DOMESTIC INCIDENT 1808 On Saturday March 7, 2020 Longmont officers received a phone call regarding a domestic violence incident which occurred in the 900 block of Warren Ct. An adult female was contacted and information provided is being investigated. 

3/7/2020 200018112 200002056 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1310 On March 7, 2020, Longmont Police took a report of a criminal mischief in the 2700 block of Mountain View Ave. An adult male was spoken to and a report taken. This case is closed due to lack of suspect information. 

3/7/2020 200018141 200002057 WARRANT ARREST 1310 On March 7, 2020, Longmont Police responded to the 1100 block of Main St on the report of a male with a warrant. The male was contacted, found to have warrants, and taken into custody. This case is cleared by arrest. 

3/7/2020 DEATH 1813 On 03/07/2020, Longmont officers responded to the 2300 block of 15th Ave on a death investigation. One adult female was found deceased. Nothing suspicious. 

3/7/2020 200018168 200002060 SHOPLIFT 1708 On Saturday, March 7, 2020, at approximately 1600 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2200 block of E. Ken Pratt Blvd., on a shoplift. An adult female was issued a summons.

3/7/2020 200018194 200002064 NOISE 0802 On 030720 the Longmont Police Department responded to a noise complaint in the 1100 block of Sumner St. An adult male was contacted and refused to accept service of a summons for the noise violation. This case is open. 

3/7/2020 200018197 200002065 SEX OFFENDER REGISTRATION 0802 On 030720, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a failure to register in the area of 11th Avenue and Sumner Street. This case is under investigation. 

3/6/2020 20000017808 200002013 THEFT 26C18 A Longmont resident reported theft in the 600 block of Emery Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time. 

3/5/2020 200002003 DISTURBANCE 1603 On March 5, 2020 Longmont Police investigated an assault in the 1300 Blk of Martin St. One adult male was arrested for assaulting a juvenile male. The case is cleared by an arrest. 

3/6/2020 200002007 SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 9805 On 03-06-20 the Longmont Police investigated a threat via email/social media to a juvenile student. The case is closed, but has been forwarded to the LPD Cyber Crimes Unit for review. 

2/22/2020 200002032 DISTURBANCE 1708 On February 22, 2020, at approximately 1812 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Terry St., on a disturbance. A report was taken for information only. 

3/6/2020 200002039 PROTECTION ORDER 1310 On March 6, 2020, Longmont Police responded to the 20 block of Cedar Ct on the report of a protection order violation. An adult female was contacted and placed under arrest. This case is cleared by arrest. 

1/26/2020 200006929 200000828 ATTEMPT TO LOCATE 1902 On Sunday 01/26/2020 at approximately 2122 hrs, Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Zlaten Dr in the City of Longmont regarding a male juvenile with active warrants. Male juvenile was later contacted and arrested on his warrants. 

3/2/2020 200016509 200001877 FRAUD 2005 On Monday, 03/02/2020, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 9th Avenue for the use of a counterfeit twenty dollar bill. The adult male victim was unable to provide information on the suspect. 

3/4/2020 200017189 200001936 INFORMATION 0713 On March 2nd, 2020, an officer in the 4900 block of Nelson Rd. received an email from a parent in reference to an incident that occurred involving her daughter over the weekend. The investigation resulted in a written harassment warning issued to a Longmont adult. The case is exceptionally cleared. 

3/4/2020 DEATH 1502 On 03/04/2020, Longmont officers were dispatched to respond to the 1400 blk of Gay St. reference a party that was not conscious and not breathing. Upon arrival, it was found the party had been deceased for some time. No suspicious circumstances determined. 

3/5/2020 CHILD 1404 On Thursday, March 5, 2020 Longmont Police responded to the 2400 blk of Airport Rd to asssit DHHS with a possible child abuse. The case is unfounded and will be closed. 

3/5/2020 200017638 200002001 THEFT 1713 On Thursday, March 5, 2020 at about 2105 hours, Officers with the Longmont Police Report took a report of a cold theft. The theft occurred in the 300 Blk of Homestead Parkway, Longmont, CO. No suspect information at this time. 

3/6/2020 200017722 200002004 AUTO THEFT 0711 On Friday, 03-06-2020, Longmont Police were dispatched to a stolen vehicle that had just occured in the 1800 blk of Emery St. Officers were able to quickly locate the vehicle and recover it without damage. The vehicle was unoccupied and the vehicle was processed for evidence. There is currently no suspect information. 

3/6/2020 200017766 200002009 MEDICAL ASSIST 1404 On Thursday, March 5, 2020 Longmont Police responded to a possible arson in the 1800 blk of Main St. Case will be closed due to lack of leads. Closed 

3/6/2020 200017767 200002008 THEFT 0101 On Friday 03/06/2020 at 1011 hours Longmont Police Officers investigated a theft which took place in the 200 block of Collyer Street in the city of Longmont. This case is closed with no active leads. 

3/6/2020 200017791 200002011 SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 0716 On 3/6/2020, Longmont Police responded to a suspicious male in the 1500 block of Kempton Court. The male caused criminal damage to a residential property and harassed an another resident. The male was transported to Longmont United Hospital on a mental health hold and was issued a summons for harassment. Case closed by arrest. 

3/6/2020 200017805 200002012 THEFT 9113 Longmont Police responded to the area of the library on a report of a bicycle being stolen. A male suspect was contacted and issued a municipal summons for Theft and Vandalism.

3/6/2020 200017860 200002029 BURGLARY 1703 On Friday, March 6, 2020 at about 1547 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of E 17th Ave on a repot of a burglary. Upon arrival officers found an adult male and an adult female entered a residence and damaged the inside of the residence. 

3/6/2020 200017876 200002031 WARRANT ARREST 1502 On 03/06/2020, Longmont officers responded to the 100 blk of E Longs Peak Ave. reference an attempt to locate on a party with a warrant for their arrest. Case cleared by arrest. 

3/6/2020 200017893 200002033 WARRANT ARREST 1602 On Friday, March 6th, 2020, at approximately 1730 hours, Officers of the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of Mountain View Ave and Paces St. An adult male was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Case cleared by arrest.
