2/20/2020 20000013400 200001541 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 26C18 An employee of a Longmont business reported criminal mischief in the 00 block of Mountain View Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time. 

2/20/2020 DEATH 9113 Longmont Police responded to 2446 Main Street on a request for a welfare check. An adult female was found deceased. 

2/20/2020 MISSING PERSON 0101 On Thursday 02/20/2020 at 1248 hours a Longmont Police Officer investigated a runaway juvenile male in the 2700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard in the city of Longmont. This case is closed with no active leads. 

2/20/2020 200001549 DISTURBANCE 9805 On 02-20-20 the Longmont Police investigated a criminal mischief and harassment at a local middle school. The case will be closed with a summons issued to a juvenile student.

2/18/2020 200012946 200001481 FRAUD 04C06 A Longmont, CO resident reported a theft and use of her credit card in the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. Leads are being investigated.

2/19/2020 200013214 200001507 FRAUD 04C06 A Longmont, CO resident reported his credit card number was used for transactions at locations outside of Longmont. 

2/19/2020 200013254 200001511 FDC/CRIM TRESPASS 06C15 On Wednesday, 02/19/20, a report was taken reference a criminal mischief which occurred in the 900 Blk. of Tenacity Dr. The suspects are unknown. 

2/19/2020 200013319 200001523 WARRANT ARREST 1909 On 2/19/2020, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of 21st Ave and Francis St, Longmont, CO. An adult male was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant out of Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. Case cleared by arrest.

2/20/2020 200013387 200001534 FOLLOW UP 04C11 On Thursday, February 20, 2020, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up. 

2/20/2020 200013390 200001536 WARRANT ARREST 1408 On 02/20/2020 at 0944 hrs. a Longmont Police Officer was assigned a warrant arrest in the Longmont Municipal Court. An adult female turned herself in on an active warrant. The warrant had a $500.00/PR bond. The adult female was released with a new court date and time. The case was cleared by arrest. 

2/20/2020 200013392 200001539 PROTECTION ORDER 0603 On 02/20/2020, an adult male was arrested in the 2000 block of 9th Ave for an outstanding arrest warrant and violation of protection order charges. 

2/20/2020 WELFARE CHECK 0108 On Thursday, February 20, 2020 Longmont Police conducted a welfare check in the 2300 block of Main St. and adult female with an infant was contacted and provided with assistance. 

2/20/2020 200013425 200001545 FDC/CRIM TRESPASS 06C15 On Thursday, 02/20/20, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and theft which occurred in the 800 Blk. of 5th Ave. The suspects are unknown. 

2/20/2020 200013443 200001547 DOMESTIC INCIDENT 0302 On 02202020, officers documented a domestic incident that occurred in the 2400 block of Airport Rd in 2019. The case is closed. This report is for information purposes only.

2/20/2020 200013477 200001553 FRAUD 1703 On Thursday, February 20, 2020 at about 1447 hours, Longmont Police took a report of forgery from the 1400 block of Main Street. An adult female found unknown person(s) took her checks and cashed them at different locations.

2/20/2020 200013512 200001557 FRAUD 06C15 On Thursday, 02/20/20, a report was taken reference an idenitity theft which did not occur in Longmont. 

2/20/2020 200013582 200001566 FDC/CRIM TRESPASS 1710 On Thursday, 02/20/2020, Longmont Police Officers took a report of a possible criminal trespass of a vehicle. The case remains open for further investigation. 

The Longmont Observer receives a police report from Longmont Public Safety every morning and we publish the police notes in full. From time to time, the Longmont Observer modifies the police notes if an exact address or a person’s name is included. Additionally, some spelling mistakes are also corrected. According to Longmont Public Safety, the CAD Call Type (e.g. ARSON, WARRANT ARREST) is entered into the computer based on the limited information dispatch receives from a caller. The CAD Call Type can be changed by an officer once more information is learned about the incident. Regardless of the CAD Call Type the type of case investigated may remain the same or be changed and the case can be closed with one of several dispositions.
