THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 400 block of Buckley Drive reported the year sticker was stolen from his license plates.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, August 5, 2019, Longmont police officers investigated a attempted sexual assault at the 700 block of Delaware Street. This case is open.

THEFT

On Tuesday, 8/6/19, a report was taken in reference to a theft which occurred at Highway 119 and Sugarmill Road. The suspects are unknown.

THEFT 

On August 6, 2019, a theft report was received from the 200 block of South Main Street. An adult female reported her bike was stolen from her front porch.

DEATH

On August 6, 2019 at approximately 1704 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 200 block of Main Street Longmont. An adult female with a traumatic injury to her head was contacted and transported.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 8/6/19, Longmont police responded to the 1800 block of Ute Creek Drive on a report of a domestic violence disturbance between an adult male and female. This case is open pending an investigation.

THEFT

On Thursday August 01, 2019 at 1654 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to a disturbance between two adult females, at the 2500 block of Main Street.

SHOPLIFT

On Saturday, August 3, 2019 Longmont Police responded to the 2500 block of Main Street on a shoplift. An adult male stole a bluetooth speaker and ran from the store. An arrest warrant is being applied for. Case will be open, under investigation.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS 

On August 4, 2019 at approximately 1152 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 000 block of South Busch Lane on the report of a vehicle break-in.

HARASSMENT

On Monday, August 5, 2019, Longmont police took an information report regarding harassment allegations.

MENACING

On Monday, August 5, 2019, officers responded to the 200 block of Kimbark Street in response to a harassment. An interview was conducted and the case is open for investigation.

WEAPON

On 8/5/19, officers contacted an adult male in the 2200 block of Main Street. The male was carrying a concealed fixed blade knife. The male was issued a municipal summons for carrying a concealed weapon. Case is cleared by arrest, summons issued.

SHOPLIFT

On Monday, August 5, 2019, Longmont police responded to a shoplift in the 2500 block of Main Street. A male and female were taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail. Cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

On Monday, August 5, 2019, Longmont police investigated a dog bite call in the 1300 block of Coffman Street. An adult male has been issued a summons. Case cleared by arrest - summons issued.

INTRUSION ALARM

On 8/6/19, officers responded to the 100 block of South Main Street on an intrusion alarm. An adult male was in a business after hours.

VICIOUS DOG

An adult female was bitten by a loose dog in the 1300 block of Dogwood Lane. The dog owner was warned and the dog was placed on home quarantine.

FRAUD

On Tuesday, 8/6/19 at approximately 1024 hours, Longmont police were assigned a call in regards to possible fraud against an at-risk adult who resides in the 1200 block of Pace Street. The case is open.

THEFT

On Tuesday, 8/6/19, a report was taken in reference to a theft which occurred in the 1900 block of South Fordham Street. The suspects are unknown.

DEATH

On 8/6/19 at approximately 1724 hours, officers took a report of a suicidal male. The male was later located deceased from a gunshot to the head.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On August 6, 2019 at approximately 1817 hours, the Longmont Police Department received a report of an adult male who grabbed two juvenile males and held them in a "bear hug" style hold in the area of 9th Avenue and Alpine Street. The juvenile males were able to pull away. A report was taken.
