AUTO THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 2400 block of Airport Road reported his vehicle stolen. The case status is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

A Longmont resident reported an attempted theft of his vehicle. The case status is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On 4/14/19, Longmont police took a report of a possible suspicious incident in the 1200 block of Carolina Avenue. A resident is reporting they received suspicious postcards in the mail with no identifiable sender information. A report was taken for informational purposes and this case is closed.

SEX ASSAULT

On Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at approximately 1026 hours, Longmont police took a report of a possible sexual assault between an adult male and an adult female who are known to one another. This case is open pending an additional investigation.

CHILD

On April 16, 2019, Longmont officers took a call regarding possible child abuse in the 3000 block area of Lakeshore Drive. This case is open pending further investigation involving the Department of Housing and Human Services and detectives.

FRAUD

On 4/16/19, the Longmont Police Department received a report concerning a forged change of beneficiaries on several policies. This case is under investigation.

SHOPLIFT

On 4/15/19, Longmont police responded to a theft at the 500 block of South Hover Street. This case was investigated and later referred to restorative justice.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Monday, April 15, 2019 at approximately 1300 hours, Longmont police took a criminal mischief report, where an adult female caused damage to a business in the 300 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. The suspect female is unknown and due to the lack of leads, this case will be closed.

SEX ASSAULT

On 4/15/19 at approximately 2032 hours, Longmont police officers received a call of a cold sex assault, which occurred in the 400 block of East Street. The case report was referred to an outside agency. This case is closed.

DUI

On April 15, 2019 at approximately 2146 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to an injury accident in the area of South Main Street and Prospect Road. An adult female was contacted and arrested. This case was cleared by arrest.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Monday, April 15, 2019, Longmont officers responded to the 1500 block of South Vivian Street on a welfare check. This case is closed.

FRAUD

On April 16, 2019 around 0230 hours, Longmont officers made contact with an adult male in the 1200 block of Main Street in regard to a suspicious situation. The adult male was taken into custody on an unrelated outstanding warrant, and Criminal Possession of Identifying Documents. This case was cleared by arrest.

GRAFFITI

On Tuesday, 4/16/19, Longmont police took a report of vandalism to the highway bridge at Ken Pratt Boulevard and 119th Street. Evidence was collected. This case is closed.

SHOPLIFT

On April 16, 2019, Longmont police responded to the 500 block of South Hover Street on the report of a shoplift. Officers arrested an adult female and issued a summons. This case is closed.

ASSAULT

On 4/16/19, an adult female in the 800 block of Summerhawk Drive reported her juvenile male son assaulted her and ran away.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 4/16/19, officers responded to the 1200 block of Tulip Street for a vandalism. An adult female suspect was located and issued a summons. This case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, Longmont police took a report of a stolen motorcycle from the 600 block of Frontage Road. No known suspects at this time. This case is open.
