Public meetings scheduled to provide feedback on draft recommended updates to Transportation Master Plan (TMP)

After reviewing input from the public and completing extensive data analysis, Boulder County Transportation staff have developed draft recommendations for the Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Update. These draft recommendations include the policies, programs, and projects that will help Boulder County Transportation continue to develop a multimodal transportation system that will serve the public far into the future.

The public’s help last fall was invaluable during the initial phases of the update process. Now the public is asked once again to review and provide feedback on the recommended updates developed using public input.

Draft updates will be made available for review and comment at www.BoCoTMP.com, but community members can also visit with staff in-person at upcoming open houses:

     What: TMP Joint Open House and Discussion Panel 
                with CU and City of Boulder
     When: Thursday, March 21 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

     When: Tuesday, April 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
     Where: Kestrel 55+ Community Room
                  1130 S. Kestrel Lane – Louisville

     What: TMP Update Recommendations Review in Longmont
     When: Thursday, April 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
     Where: Ron Stewart Parks and Open Space Building
                 5201 St. Vrain Road – Longmont

Additional events are currently being planned for western Boulder County. More information will be made available when details are known. 

The TMP is being updated to include: new or trending transportation-related technology; changes in demographics, land use, and travel patters; and, opportunities for infrastructure and economic resiliency. Work also includes identification of funding challenges and opportunities.
