On Tuesday night, Longmont City Council unanimously passed ordinance O-2018-01 which renews the lease on hangar parcel 16 (H-16) to General Hangars Corporation. Renewal of the lease will increase the airport fund by an additional $5,483.
According to city council communication, the "lease will bring the value of the lease up to the current market rate for land lease for hangars."
General Hangars Corporation will lease H-16 for twenty years at an annual sum of $11,329.13.
Nobody spoke for or against the ordinance during the public hearing.
