Longmont City Council unanimously voted to pass ordinance O-2017-69 on Tuesday night. The ordinance amends the lease for Vance Brand municipal airport hanger H-46 to a new owner.

According to city council communication, GV Air, Inc., recently purchased Rocky Mountain Aerial Surveys, Inc. (RMAS), the previous lessee of hanger H-46, and must be assigned to the new owner of the company.

RMAS was founded in 1973 and “is in the remote sensing business; gathering, storing,

processing, and delivering geographic information that is collected by using aerial photography and other remote sensing methods such as digital camera and LiDAR systems.”
