The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and use tax division analysis of taxes for the month of October 2017.
According to the report, total sales and use tax for the month of October 2017 was $5,172,664 which is an increase of 4.2% from October 2016’s $4,965,850. Current sales tax collection has increased 3.8% while current use tax collection has increased 5.2%.
So far, 2017 has seen total sales and use tax through October increased by 11.8%.
