The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and use tax division analysis of taxes for the month of December 2017.
According to the report, total sales and use tax for the month of December 2017 was $7,018,892 which is a decrease of 1.6% from December 2016’s $7,135,148. Current sales tax collection has increased 8.7% while current use tax collection has increased 16.1%.
2017 saw total sales and use tax through December increase by 10.1%.
