Members of the public may address the Commissioners on any county issue not currently being addressed in a separate public process. Comments are limited to 3 minutes per individual speaker and up to 10 minutes per group (one speaker and up to three pooled-time attendees comprising a group) to allow all residents time to voice their concerns. Speakers may sign up in person beginning 30 minutes before the public comment session starts.

Parks and Open Space Department: Public Hearing on Agricultural Issues. 
Staff will provide a summary of efforts to facilitate the transition of Genetically Engineered (GE) crops from county lands; including a revision to the current transition plan to allow for additional support for tenants to transition from GE crops on Boulder County Agricultural land.

Parks and Open Space Department: Engle; Boulder County proposes to acquire fee title to approximately 80 acres of vacant forested lands, for $400,000. The property is located south of Allenspark, west of the Peak to Peak Highway, on Bunce School Road.

Land Use Department Docket DC-18-0006: General Code Clean Up Public Hearing 
Amendments to the Land Use Code to address clerical mistakes, outdated references and terminology, and minor changes to clarify code provisions and improve processes. This docket will include the following topics: docket sign posting, referral requirements for Variances reduced to 15 days, post-approval requirements for Vacations increased to one-year deadline, clarification for Kennel use, addition of the definition of a carport, updating references to the Environmental Resources Element, and clarifications to the setback and grading definitions.

Land Use Department Docket HP-19-0002: Gold King, Silver Serpent, Gold King No. 1 and Ace of Diamonds Placer Claims Request for approval of a Boulder County Historic Landmark Designation of a site area; submitted by Scot Shaeffer; in accordance with the Boulder County Land Use Code. The proposed project is in the Forestry (F) Zoning District, at 243 County Road 126, in Section 10, Township 1S, Range 73W of the 6th Principal Meridian.

Land Use Department Docket HP-19-0003: Bishop Gallery; Request for approval of a Boulder County Historic Landmark Designation of the structures; submitted by the Bishop Family Trust; in accordance with the Boulder County Land Use Code. Community Services Department Update to BOCC on Homeless Solutions for Boulder County 
Boulder County Community Services Department will provide an update to the first year of the new countywide service system for single adults experiencing homelessness, Homeless Solutions for Boulder County. The presentation will include data on the system’s first year, plans for the system’s long-term direction, and identify opportunities to improve supports for single adults experiencing homelessness.

PUBLIC MEETING – NO. 2 
Community Services Department 2018 Biennial Volunteer Report to BOCC 
Boulder County Community Services Department will present the 2018 Volunteer Report and findings; including boards volunteer report and program report. The presentation will include updated volunteer numbers, volunteer stories and highlights, and a comparison between 2016 report and 2018 report.
