Police Report: September 18, 2017

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS On Monday, September 18, 2017 at approximately 0917 hours Longmont Police took a report of a vehicle trespass in the 200 block of Riverview Ct. Unknown suspects entered a parked car and stole items of value.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Monday, September 18, 2017 at approximately 0917 hours Longmont Police took a report of a vehicle trespass in the 200 block of Riverview Ct. Unknown suspects entered a parked car and stole items of value. This case is closed due to the lack of suspect information and workable leads.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Monday, 09/18/17, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and criminal mischief which occurred in the 1800 Blk. of Spencer St. The case is closed as the suspects are unknown.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, September 18, 2017 Officers were dispatched a domestic violence incident on the 1000 block of Kay Street. This case is open for further investigation.

THEFT

An owner/operator of a Longmont business located in the 1000 block of Coffman Street reported a theft by an employee. The case status is open and has been forwarded for follow up.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On September 8, 2017 Longmont Police responded to a business in the 2200 block of Main Street on a report of attempted theft through check fraud. The suspects returned and attempted the process again on September 9, 2017. This case is open pending further investigation.

WELFARE CHECK

On Sunday September 17, 2017 the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of Morgan Road in reference to a caretaker neglect. Upon investigation, this case is unfounded.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Sunday, September 17, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of 11th Avenuein response to a criminal mischief in progress. A 14 year old male was refered to LCJP.

VICIOUS DOG

On September 17, 2017 at approximately 1853 hrs, Longmont Police officers were dispatched to contact a victim of a dog bite. Case remains open.

 VICIOUS DOG

On 09/17/2017 Longmont Police responded to the 2300 block of Smith Ct. to the report of a possible vicious dog. A report was taken and the owner of the dog was issued a summons. Case closed.

DRUG VIOLATION

On Sunday, September 17, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Amherst Drive in reference to a narcotics violation. A 16 year old male was served with a summons. Case closed.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Monday, September 18, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 300 block of Judson St. on a medical call. A juvenile female was transported to Longmont United Hospital and place on a 72 hour mental health hold. Case closed.

 WELFARE CHECK 

The Longmont Police Department investigated a welfare check in north west Longmont. Case is closed.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Monday (09-18-17) at approximately 1320 hours, officers responded to a report of multiple FDC's to motor vehicles in the 000 block of S. Main St.. Due to the lack of suspect information this case is closed.

ANIMAL FOLLOW UP

Animal Control took two cats out of an apartment in the 00 block of 3rd Avenue. The owner was out of town and unable to care for the cats. The cats were transported to the Longmont Humane Society.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On September 18, 2017 at approximately 1649 hours police were dispatched to a vehicle break in that occured on the 1200 block of S. Hover St. An unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and stole prescription narcotics. The case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

FRAUD

On September 18th, 2017, Officer responded to the area of Bent Way and South Hover of report of a fraud. A fraudulant $20.00 bill was collected and no suspect information was available. Case closed.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Monday, September 18, 2017 at about 1937 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 2000 block of Juniper Street on a report of an intoxicated adult male possibly suicidal. Upon arrival Officers spoke to family members and gave information on what options were available. Case open.

BURGLARY

On September 18th, 2017, Officers were dispatched to the area of East 16th ave and Cherrywood Drive on report of a Burglary. Multiple items were taken from a residence. A report was taken. Case closed due to no suspect information.
