ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont woman was bitten by her own cat. The cat was relinquished back to the humane society.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Sunday, 11/05/17 at approximately 1109 hours, Officers responded and assisted Weld County Sheriff's Department on a criminal investigation of Domestic Violence, Violation of a Protection Order, and Stalking. An adult male was later arrested in the 1600 block of Main St as a result of a traffic stop. This case is closed and referred to Weld County Sheriff's Department for Criminal Charges.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Tuesday, October 31, 2017 the Longmont Police took a report of a protection order violation. An adult male suspect has been identified. Case open.

DUI

On Saturday, November 4th, 2017, Longmont Officers conducted a traffic stop near 3rd and Terry. One adult male was arrested on DUI charges. Case cleared by arrest

WELFARE CHECK

On Saturday, November 4, 2017, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1400 Block of S. Collyer St., in an attempt to contact a juvenile female. The juvenile female was contacted and taken into protective custody. This case is closed.

THEFT

On 11-4-17, an unknown person(s) stole a magnetic rooftop pizza delivery sign from atop a vehicle in the 1200 block of S Hover Road. There are no leads and the matter is closed.

DUI

On 11/05/17 at 2300 hrs. a Longmont Police Officer observed a white Jeep Liberty without headlights on. The case was cleared with two arrests.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT 

On 11/4/17, officers took a report of a cat bite. This case was referred to Animal Control for follow up.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 11-5-17 at 0038 hrs., officers responded to a domestic disturbance between a husband and wife in the 2400 block of Airport Road. No criminal act was determined to have been committed and the matter is closed.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On 11/05/17, officers were alerted to the location of stolen license plates in the 1000 block of Alta St. The license plates were recovered and returned to owner. This case is closed.

DUI

On Sunday 110517 at approximately 0138 hours, the Longmont Police Department investigated a reported drunk driver in the 900 block of S. Hover St. One adult male was arrested for DUI without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On Sunday, November 5, 2017, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 4500 Block of Redmond Dr. on report of a domestic in progress. Occupants in an apartment were contacted and two adult males were taken into custody. This case is cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

On November 5, 2017, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a aggressive dog which bit a male in the 700 block of Mt. Evans St. The dog was not located and the owner's identity is unknown at this time. This case is closed.

THEFT

On Sunday, November 5, 2017 at about 1619 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Atwood Street on a report of a theft. Upon arrival officers found someone stole the back license plate off of a vehicle. Case closed.

INJURED ANIMAL

A Longmont male was bitten by a loose cat while trying to see if it was injured.

SHOPLIFT

On November 5, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Hover in response to a shoplift in progress. A report was taken as the suspect took off prior to officer arrival.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday, November 5, 2017 at about 2005 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Calkins Avenue on a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers arrested an adult female for harassment and domestic violence. The female was transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On 11/05/2017 Longmont Police took a report of a theft in the 1600 block of Flemming Dr. This case is open and under investigation.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 11/05/2017 Longmont Police responded to the 1400 block of Coffman St. to the report of a suicidal party. An adult male was located and later transported to the hospital and placed on a mental health hold. A report was taken and case closed.
