Police Report: May 26, 2018

AUTO THEFT On 05/26/2018, Longmont officers took a report of an auto theft from the 1300 blk of Red Mountain Dr. It was later discovered the vehicle had been located by Loveland Police Department. Case closed.

AUTO THEFT

On 05/26/2018, Longmont officers took a report of an auto theft from the 1300 blk of Red Mountain Dr. It was later discovered the vehicle had been located by Loveland Police Department. Case closed.

PROTECTION ORDER

On May 26, 2018 at approximately 0550 hours, Longmont Police contacted two pedestrians arguing on the street near the 1900 block of Main St. An adult female was later placed into custody for a restraining order violation, as she was restrained from being in contact with the male party she was with. Case cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 05/26/2018 Longmont Police responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Longdon St. to the report of a possible domestic related incident. A report was taken and the case is closed with no charges pending at this time.

DRUG VIOLATION

On Wednesday, May 23 2018, Longmont Police contacted a 32 year old male in the 300 block of East 21st Ave in reference to violation of parks curfew. The male was taken into custody on a Violation of a Protection order, as well as weapons and narcotics related charges. The case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On Wednesday, May 23 2018, Longmont Police responded to the 2400 block of 17th Ave in reference to a theft and criminal mischief. A 29 year old male reported a light bar stolen from his vehicle, resulting in damage to the vehicle. The case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Thursday, May 24, 2018 at approximately 1230 hours Longmont Police took a report of domestic violence theft. The reporting party alleged her exboyfriend had stolen all the furniture and a dog from the residence. This case is open pending further investigation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday May 25, 2018 at approximately 1135 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1000 blk of Sonoma Cir, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, for the report of harassment. Case open.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Saturday 05/26/2018 at approximately 0125 hours police responded to the 1400 block Dry Creek Drive in relation to an vehicle theft, later determined to be an outside agency assist. The case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

On 05/26/2018, Longmont Police responded to the 1300 block of Main St. regarding a cold motor vehicle theft. The police investigated the matter, and the case is currently open.

BURGLARY

On May 26, 2017 Longmont Police investigated a burglary in the 1400 block of Emery Street. The suspect was known to the victim and an adult male was arrested. This case is cleared by arrest.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Saturday, May 26, 2018, officers responded to a report of a Hit and Run that occurred at the 3000 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd. A suspect was identified. Case status is open pending contact with the suspect.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Saturday, May 26, 2018,officers were dispatch to a reckless driving incident that occurred on 17th Ave in Longmont. The case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

HARASSMENT

On May 26, 2018, at approximately 1712 hrs Longmont police officers responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of Martin St. Case remains open.

WELFARE CHECK

On May 26, 2018 the Longmont Police Department contacted a male in the 2000 block of Main St. The male was placed on a 72 hour mental health hold.

DEATH

On May 26, 2018, Longmont Police responded to the 1400 block of Coffman St on the report of an adult female not conscious and not breathing. The female passed away a short time later under non-suspicious circumstances. This case is closed.
