Auto Theft

A Longmont resident in the 700 block of Rees Ct. reported his vehicle stolen. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

On Monday, 05/22/17, a report was taken reference an aggravated motor vehicle theft which occurred in the 400 blockĀ of Coffman. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

FDC/Crime Trespassing

On Monday (05-22-17) at approximately 10am, officers responded to a report of an FDC, in the area of 000 block of S. Francis St.. Due to the lack of suspect information this case is closed.

Theft

The Longmont Police Department investigated an attempted theft in northwest Longmont. Case is referred to Detectives.

On Monday, 05/22/17, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred at the 80 block of 21st Ave. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

A Longmont resident in the 700 block of Vivian Street reported a theft of a mobility scooter. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Warrant Arrest

On 05/22/2017 Longmont police stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 800 block of Main St.. Upon contact, an adult male passenger in the vehicle was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody without incident, and later transported to the Boulder County Jail.

On Monday, May 22, 2017 at about 12:43am, Longmont Police contacted an adult female walking in the 1900 block of 9th Avenue. After a routine query officers found the female had a warrant for her arrest. The female was arrested and transported to the Boulder County Jail.

Vicious Dog

A Longmont male was bitten while trying to break up a dog fight with his neighbors dog. The dog was located and quarantined at home.

Suicide Attempt

On 05/21/2017 Longmont police received a report of a possibly suicidal adult male. An adult female family member called and advised they were concerned about the male, stating he was expressing suicidal thoughts. The subject male was unable to be located, but was placed in to the state crime computer as a missing/suicidal person.

Shoplifting

On 05/22/2017 a male stole merchandise from the Dollar Tree at 2285 Main St. The male fled before police arrived and was not located. The case is closed

Death

On 05/22/2017, a 77 year old male was found deceased in his residence. The death is under investigation.

DUI

On 5/22/17, officers responded to the 200 block of S Main St on the report of a male sleeping behind the wheel of a running car at the McDonald's drive-thru. The male was later arrested for suspicion of DUI. This case is cleared by arrest.
