CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A report was received for the theft of copper wire from a home under construction in the 2400 block of Spotswood Street. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On May 13, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2200 block of Collyer Street on a domestic violence-related disturbance. One adult male was arrested. This case is cleared by arrest.
THEFT
On May 14, 2018 a theft report was received from the 600 block of Collyer Street. An adult male reported a power edger was stolen. There are is no suspect information. Case closed.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On 05/14/2018, Longmont Police investigated a domestic incident in the 500 block of 4th Ave. During the investigation, one subject was arrested without incident. The case is cleared by arrest.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT
On 5/14/18 LPD responded to the 1700 block of 11th Ave, reference a suicidal juvenile. The juvenile was taken into protective custody and transported to a hospital. The case is closed.
HARASSMENT
On 5/14/18 LPD responded to the 1600 block of Airport Rd, reference a harassment. A juvenile male was issued a summons. The case is cleared by arrest.
PROTECTION ORDER
On May 14, 2018 Longmont Police responded to the 300 Blk of Ken Pratt Blvd to investigate a protection order violation. Not enough evidence was available to charge and the case will be closed.
LOST PROPERTY
On May 14, 2018 I lost property report was received from the 2300 block of Clover Basin Drive. An adult female reported her wallet was losted along with several personal identification items inside. Case closed.
HARASSMENT
On 05/14/18, an adult female reported an adult male was calling her in an attempt to locate her daughter, who was the subject of stalking by the suspect. No crime was committed and a report was taken for information.
TRESPASS
On Monday, May 14, 2018, at approximately 2013 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Kimbark Street on an intoxicated male being extremely belligerent and threatening people. The male refused to leave the property when given the opportunity and was placed under arrest for trespassing. The case is cleared by arrest.
SUSPICIOUS SITUATION
On May 14, 2018 Longmont Police investigated a suspicious situation in the area of S Emery St/ Ridge Ave. Limited suspect information was available and the case is closed.
SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILD
Police were contacted by the St Vrain Valley School District regarding a school district email account which contained naked photos of a juvenile female. The district called the school in question where the female student goes to school and that school in turn called the police. The investigation is continuing.
THEFT
Police recovered a stolen bicycle in the area of 800 block of Grandview Meadows Drive. The bicycle was stolen from Altona Middle School and the security video showed the suspect was a juvenile female. The female and her parents were contacted and she was referred to LCJP. The bicycle was returned to the owner.
WARRANT ARREST
On Sunday, May 13, 2018 at about 2204 hours, Longmont Police arrested an adult male in the 1800 block of Main Street for 2 failure to appear warrants out of the Longmont Municipal Court. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail and held on a total bond of $500.00. Case cleared by arrest.
WARRANT ARREST
On Monday, 05/14/18 at approximately 0200 hours, Longmont Police contacted an occupied vehicle in a parking lot of Roosevelt Park, 920 Longs Peak Ave. An adult male was arrested for an active warrant. Case cleared by arrest.
DUI
On Monday, 05/14/18 at approximately 0545 hours, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000-block of S Hover St. An adult male was arrested for DUI and was later transported to a detoxification facility. Case cleared by arrest.
HARASSMENT
On May 14, 2018, Longmont Police Officers responded to the 100 block of E Longs Peak Ave regarding a harassment. It was reported that an unknown suspect was requesting money from a adult male regarding a relationship. There are no suspects in this case, case closed.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
A Longmont resident in the 700 block of Darby Ct. reported his bike was stolen from his unlocked vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.
BURGLARY
On 05-14-18 the Longmont Police investigated an attempted burglary of a construction site in Longmont. The were no suspects and the case is closed.
DISTURBANCE
On Monday, May 14, 2018 officers responded to the 0 hundred block of 9th Ave in regards to a disturbance between a family. Case closed.
PROTECTION ORDER
On Monday 05/14/18, Longmont Police responded to the 300 block of Kimbark St reference a disturbance. An adult female reportedly violated a restraining order and assaulted another adult female. The case is open.
CHILD
On Monday, May 14, 2018, at approximately 1545 hours, officers contacted an adult female in the lobby of the police department at 225 Kimbark Street in reference to a child abuse report. The female wanted to report that they observed marks on the back of a two year old family member and believe the child is being abused by a parent. The Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services was contacted and the case is open.
WELFARE CHECK
On 05/14/2018, at approxiamtely 1601 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 2000 block of Denver Ave, an address in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, and State of Colorado reference a welfare check. One juvenile male was contacted and taken to Longmont United Hospital for suicidal ideations. Case closed.
MENACING
On May 14th, 2018 at approximately 1854 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Hilltop Dr. Longmont, CO. in reference to a juvenile threatening people with knife. An investigation was conducted and this case is closed with no charges.
VICIOUS DOG
On Monday 05-14-2018, Officers responded to Longmont United Hospital on a report of a dog bite. A report was written and forwarded to Animal Control for follow up.
MISSING PERSON
On 5/14/18, officers responded to the 2700 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd on the report of a runaway. A report was taken and the juvenile male was entered into CCIC/NCIC as a runaway. This case is closed.
