ASSAULT
On Sunday, May 13, 2018 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Valentine Lane in response to a disturbance. An 18 year old female was assaulted by a 48 year old male. A male was arrested for assault related charges. Case cleared by arrest.
DEATH
On Sunday May 13th, 2018 Longmont Officers were called to a medical call with CPR in progress. One adult female passed away. No unusual circumstances. Case closed.
WARRANT ARREST
On 05/13/2018, Longmont Police responded to the 800 block of Atwood St. regarding a single-vehicle accident. Police investigated the matter, and one subject was arrested without incident on an unrelated warrant. The case is currently cleared by arrest.
INFORMATION
On Sunday May 13th, 2018 Longmont Officers were dispatched to a welfare check. Investigation is still on going. Case open.
BURGLARY
On Saturday, May 12, 2018, at approximately 1000 hours, officers contacted an adult male in the 1200 block of Bowen Circle on a burglary and theft report. The male stated that his storage unit had been entered sometime during the past three weeks and items removed.
There is no suspect information and the case is closed.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On May 12, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 700 block of Crisman Drive on a domestic violence-related disturbance. This case is closed.
CHILD
On 5-12-18, officers responded to an initial call of a child abuse in the 900 block of Kane Drive. Investigation revealed the mother of a 12 year old female struck the child with an open hand on the thigh after the child assaulted the mother. The child abuse allegation was unfounded, and the mother did not wish to pursue an assault charge against the child. A referral to DHHS was made for intervention and the matter is closed.
PROTECTION ORDER
On May 12, 2018 Longmont Police responded to the 900 block of Main St on a report of an intoxicated male passed out on the ground. The male was later placed into custody for restraining order violations. Case cleared by arrest.
MENACING
On Saturday, May 12, 2018 at about 2240 hours, Longmont Police took a report of menacing that occurred in the 1900 block of Ashford Circle. Case unfounded.
WARRANT ARREST
On Saturday, 05/12/18 at approximately 2332 hours, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Pratt St. An adult female was arrested for an active warrant and was booked and bonded out from the LPD.
DUI
On Sunday, 05/13/18 at approximately 0152 hours, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop near 6th Ave and Main St. The driver stopped the vehicle in the 500 block of Longs Peak Ave and he was arrested for DUI and other charges. Case cleared by arrest.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
On 5-13-18 at 0210 hrs., an adult male resident of Longmont saw teens entering cars in the area of Emery Street and Emery Court. He chased one teen and caught him nearby. That teen was arrested and named a second suspect as his brother. He was arrested. Both were booked and released to a parent. The matter is cleared by arrest.
PROTECTION ORDER
On Sunday 05/13/18, Longmont Police responded to the 2000 block of Sunset Way reference a disturbance. An adult male was arrested for violation of a protection order. He was booked and then transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE
On May 13, 2018 Longmont Police were notified of a wanted party in the 1000 block of S Hover Street. Police arrested an adult male on a felony warrant out of Weld County Sheriff's Office. This case is cleared by arrest.
DISTURBANCE
On May 13, 2018, Longmont Police Officers responded to the 600 block of Main St. for a report of two adult males aggressively begging in the area. Upon contacting the males one of them was placed under arrest on outstanding warrants and the other was issued a summons. Case cleared by arrest/summons.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On May 13, 2018 Longmont Police investigated the 500 blk of Mt Evans Dr on a criminal mischief call. Not enough evidence was available to charge a juvenile suspect. The case will be closed.
HARASSMENT
On Sunday, May 13, 2018 Longmont Police Officers responded to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane in response to a harassment. A report was taken for information only. Case closed.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On Sunday May 13, 2018 at approximately 2001 hours, Officer's responded to the 1700 blk of E Ken Pratt Blvd, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, for an outside agency assist. Case Closed.
MENACING
On Sunday, May 13, 2018, at approximately 2000 hours, officers responded to the 2400 block of Dodd Lane on a report of a road rage incident involving a handgun. The adult male victim stated that upon arriving home a car pulled next to his car and the male driver of that car stated, "You need to learn how to drive". The suspect then pointed a handgun at the victim before driving away. The suspect was not located and the case is closed.
