Police Report: June 29, 2017

Arson On Thursday, June 29, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 block of Francis St on the report of a structure fire. A single-dwelling home and a detached garage were affected. No suspects have been developed at this time.

Arson

On Thursday, June 29, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 block of Francis St on the report of a structure fire. A single-dwelling home and a detached garage were affected. No suspects have been developed at this time. Investigation has been referred to Longmont Fire Department investigators.

Disturbance

On Thursday, June 29, 2017, the Longmont Police Department was called to the 2000 block of Estes Ln regarding a family disturbance where a 10 year old male was out of control. The 10 year old male was evaluated by medical staff and ultimately taken to the Longmont United Hospital on a mental health hold.

Welfare Check

On Thursday, June 29, 2017 at approximately 5:13 pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Hover Street Longmont, CO in reference to a welfare check. An adult male was later contacted and arrested on multiple charges.

Longmont Police responded to the 300 block of Homestead Parkway on a welfare check. All parties involved were checked and a report was completed for informational purposes.

Fraud

Owners of businesses located in Longmont, CO and Dacono, CO reported a theft of merchandise due to a fraudulent transaction. The same suspect has been named and identified for each location. The case status is open and has been forwarded for follow up.

A Longmont resident in the 1000 block of Harmon Place reported her social security number was used fraudulently in the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue to obtain services. The case status is open and has been forwarded for follow up.

Burglary

On Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at approximately 7:31am, the Longmont Police Department responded to a report of a burglary that occurred in the 700 block of S Martin St. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect leads.

Harassment

On Wednesday June 28, 2017 at approximately 10:14am, Officer's took a report of a cold harassment in the 1100 block of Emery St. This case remains open.

Missing Person

On Wednesday June 28, 2017 the Longmont Police Department received information from Larimer County Sheriff's Department about a vehicle they located in their jurisdiction which contained a note from the owner that may have suicidal undertones to it. The vehicle was abandoned at a camp site at Pinewood Reservoir in Larimer County. The owner of the vehicle was not located. This case is closed.

A Longmont resident in the 700 block of Arrowood Street reported a missing person. The case status is closed but forwarded to Detectives for information.

Injured Animal

On Wednesday June 28, 2017at approximately 9:15pm officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Martin Street on the report of an injured animal. Case closed

Animal Complaint

On Wednesday June 28, 2017, a woman was bitten by her own cat. She was treated and released at LUH. The cat will be quarantined at its home.

Warrant Arrest

On Wednesday June 28, 2017 at approximately 10:19pm, the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop near Granite Ct/Highland Dr. One adult male was arrested for an outstanding warrant without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

On Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 10:18pm, Longmont Police arrested a 31 year old male on three outstanding warrants for his arrest in the 500 block of Main St. The male was transported to jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

Criminal Mischief

On Thursday, June 29, 2017, Longmont Police responded to a cold criminal mischief to a glass door at a business in the 1300 block of Dry Creek Dr. Upon investigation, it was determined that the door was intentionally broken and there is no suspects. This case will be Closed.

A Longmont resident in the 600 block of Peck Drive reported an unknown person vandalized the door to her apartment's storage closet. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Theft

A Longmont resident reported the theft of her cell phone from a restaurant in the 2000 block of Main Street. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Auto Theft

A Boulder resident reported the theft of his green, 1998 Honda Civic from the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 200 block of East 8th Avenue in Longmont. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Domestic Incident

On Thursday, June 29, 2017, the Longmont Police investigated a domestic incident. There were no charges files, and the case was closed.

Menacing

The Longmont Police Department investigated a felony menacing in northwest Longmont. Case is open and pending follow up.

Warrant Arrest

On Thursday, June 29, 2017,, at 1:44pm, Longmont Police arrested an adult male on a warrant arrest at Longmont Municipal court.
