Police Report: July 9, 2017

DUI On Sunday, July 09 2017, Longmont Police Responded to the 6:00 pm of Hover St in reference to a report of a DUI. A 45 year old male was arrested and transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

DUI

On Sunday, July 09 2017, Longmont Police Responded to the 6:00 pm of Hover St in reference to a report of a DUI. A 45 year old male was arrested and transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

Theft

On July 09, 2017 at approximately 2:30 a.m. Officers responded to the 1300 block of S Coffman on a stolen vehicle report. After arrival Officers contacted an adult female who stated her vehicle had been stolen from in front of her house. There are no workable leads or suspect information. Case closed.

Hit and Run Accident

On Sunday, July 9, 2017, at approximately 10:43 am hours Longmont Police investigated a hit and run property damage accident in the area of 19th Ave and Emery St. A dark colored pickup truck struck a silver sedan on the passenger side and fled the area. The suspects are unknown and there are no workable leads. This case is closed.

Warrant Arrest

On Sunday, July 9, 2017, at approximately 10:30 am, officers arrested a transient adult male in the 500 block of Main St. on an active out of state warrant for sex assault. This case is cleared by arrest.

On July 8, 2017, at approximately 7:46 pm, I, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of 2nd Ave for an attempt to locate. An adult male was located, and taken into custody on warrants. Case is cleared by arrest.

On Sunday, July 9th, 2017 at approximately 3:46 pm, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Dunbar Ct on an attempt to locate. An adult male was arrested on scene for a warrant. This case is cleared by arrest.

Disturbance

At approximately 4:08 pm, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Hilltop Drive in reference to a juvenile male damaging property inside a residence. The juvenile was placed under arrest and transported to Boulder County Juvenile Intake where he was released into their custody. The case is cleared by arrest.

On Sunday 07/09/2017 at approximately 2:51 am police responded to the 1800 block Terry Street in relation to disturbance. A separate incident was disclosed to the police while at the the location. The victim was uncooperative and the case is exceptionally cleared.

On Sunday, July 9, 2017, at approximately 2:50 pm, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Hilltop Drive in reference to a juvenile male damaging property in the residence. It was determined that the male caused damage in the amount of $160.00. He was issued a juvenile court referral and left at the residence. The case is cleared by arrest.

Theft

On Sunday, July 9, 2017 at about 4:00 pm Longmont Police took a report of a theft of a license plate from the 700 block of Tundra Place. Case closed.

On Sunday, July 9, 2017 Longmont Police took report for a stolen wallet. This case is closed due to no suspect information.

On 07/09/17 at 3:29 pm. a Longmont Police Officer took a theft report by phone. The case is closed.

Burglary

On 06/09/17 at 6:24 pm a Longmont Police Officer took a burglary report by phone. The case is closed.

Other Agency Assist

On Saturday, 07/08/17 an officer took an information report for possible fraud that is occuring in Longmont. This case is closed at this time.

On Sunday 07/09/2017 at approximately 12:29 am police responded to the 800 block 2nd Avenue in relation to an outside agency assist. An adult male was arrested and transferred to Fort Collins Police custody. The case is closed.

Welfare Check

On 07/08/17 at 4:15 pm, Longmont Police Officers responded to the 2000 blk of Emery St. on a welfare check. The case was cleared with a mental health hold.

Suicide Attempt

On Saturday July 8th, 2017, at approximately 8:00pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Lamplighter Dr. reference a suicidal female. Police contacted an adult female. The case is closed.

FDC/CRIM Trespass

On Saturday, July 8th, 2017, Longmont Officers responded to the 1200 block of Kiteley Ln in reference to a theft. An adult male and female were taken into custody. Case is cleared by arrest.

On 070917, Officers conducted extra patrol in the 300 block of Terry St. An adult male and female were both issued summonses. The case is cleared by arrest.

On Sunday July 9, 2017 at approximately 8:00am, I, OFC McDonnell was dispacted to a vehicle break in on the 2100 block of Hackberry Cir.

On Sunday July 9, 2017 at approximately 9:00 am, I, OFC McDonnell, took a report for a vehicle break on the 2100 block of Hackberry Cir.

On 07/09/17 at 6:36 pm. a Longmont Police Officer responded to 2100 block of Hackberry Cir on a report of an FDC. The case is closed.

Death

On July 9, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to a death investigation in the 400 block of Vivian St. An elderly male passed away in his home under no suspicious circumstances. This case is closed.

Auto Theft

On Sunday, July 9, 2017, at approximately 10:08 am Longmont Police took a stolen vehicle report in the 1300 block of Merl Pl. A 2000 black and gold Ford Expedition was stolen from in front of a residence. This case is closed due to the lack of suspects and workable leads.

Fraud

On Sunday (07-09-17) at approximately 10:13 am officers responded to a report of fraud/forgery that occurred in the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Blvd.. Due to the lack of suspect information this case is closed.

Lost Property

On July 9, 2017 at about 12:11 pm Longomont Police took a report of a lost wallet. case closed.

Welfare Check

On Sunday, July 9, 2017 an adult female from out of state requested a welfare check on her sibling who had a history of depression and had not been answering his phone for some time. The male sibling was placed on a mental health hold and was transported to Longmont United Hospital for an evaluation. This case is closed.

Vicious Dog

On 07/09/17 at 8:03 pm. Longmont Police Officer responded to 1800 block of Terry St. on two pitbulls fighting. The case has been referred to the animal control unit.
