AUTO THEFT
A Denver, CO resident reported his vehicle was stolen from the 1400 block of Baker Street, Longmont, CO. The vehicle has been recovered and the case status is closed.
DRUG VIOLATION
On 01/08/18 at approximately 2100 hrs, officers with the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Grand Dr and 15th Ave. The driver and passenger had warrants for their arrest. The driver possessed methamphetamine and acid on his person. Case cleared by arrest.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT
On 01-08-18 the Longmont Police responded to a suicidal person. The person was taken in to custody and transported by ambulance to the hospital for medical attention. The case is closed.
On Wednesday, 01/08/18, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass which occurred in the 600 Blk. of Pratt St. on 01/03/18. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.
THEFT
On Monday, January 8, 2018, Longmont Police responded to a local department store for a shoplift. An adult female was issued a summons for theft, and this case is cleared.
THEFT
On Monday, 01/08/18 a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 2400 Blk. of Pratt St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.
WELFARE CHECK
On Friday, 010518 officers were dispatched on a suicidal juvenile female in the 900 block of Grandview Meadows Dr. She was contacted and placed into protective custody.
VICIOUS DOG
A seven year old girl was bitten by a dog in Kanemoto park on Sunday afternoon, 01/07/18. The dog owner is unknown at this time.
DUI
On Monday, 01/08/18 at approximately 0116 hours, Longmont Police were contacted by a citizen in regards to a REDDI (Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately) report. The vehicle was contacted in the 900 block of S Hover St and an adult female was arrested for DUI and related charges. The case is cleared by arrest.
DRUG VIOLATION
The Longmont Police Department investigated a possession of marijuana incident at the 1200 block of Alpine St. Case is closed and referred to the Longmont Community Justice Partnership, LCJP.
BURGLARY
On January 8, 2018 Longmont Police investigated a buglary in the 600 Blk of Peck Dr. No suspect was identified and the case is closed.
SHOPLIFT
On 1/7/18, officers responded to the 2200 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd on the report of a shoplift which had just occurred. The suspect was not able to be identified. This case is closed.
