Police Report: December 21, 2017

PROTECTION ORDER Longmont Police attempted to contact the driver of a vehicle near Nelson Road and Korte Way for Violation of a Protection Order. After further investigation, an adult male was arrested and transported to Boulder County Jail.

PROTECTION ORDER

Longmont Police attempted to contact the driver of a vehicle near Nelson Road and Korte Way for Violation of a Protection Order. After further investigation, an adult male was arrested and transported to Boulder County Jail.

TRESPASS

Longmont Police and Longmont Fire responded to the 2400 block of Main Street on a report of trespassers who started a camp fire. After further investigation, an adult male and female were issued county summonses for Trespass and Arson.

ASSAULT

On Thursday, 12/21/17 at approximately 1356 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of S. Hover St. on a report of an assault. Shortly thereafter, the same suspect was reported to have entered a bank in the 2300 block of Clover Basin Dr and attempted to Rob it. An adult male was arrested and transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case is cleared by arrest.

HARASSMENT

On December 21st, 2017, Officers took a report of harassment that occurred in the 2300 BLK of Lanyon Drive. A report was taken and this case will be closed due to lack of evidence.

BURGLARY

On Thursday, December 21, 2017 at approximately 1934 hours, the Longmont Police Department investigated a report of a menacing. During that investigation, officers initiated an investigation of a Violation of a Protection Order that occurred in the 00 block of 9th Ave. This case is open.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On 12/14/2017, Longmont Police assisted Boulder County Housing and Human Services regarding a family that needed to be contacted regarding the childrens safety and welfare. The parent was contacted and the children were in another location with a family friend. This report is for information only. Case closed.

DISTURBANCE

On Wednesday December 20, 2017 at approximately 0916 hours, Officer's responded to the 2600 blk of Denver Ave, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, for the report of a disturbance. Report taken. Case closed.

DRUG VIOLATION

On December, 20, 2017, Police conducted a traffic stop reference a hit and run. During the investigation the adult male driver was found to be in possession of Heroin. He was arrested and transported to jail.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, December 20, 2017Longmont Police responded to the 800 block of Atwood St. on report of a felony menacing with a knife. The suspect was apprehended and taken into custody. This case is cleared by arrest.

WELFARE CHECK

On Wednesday 122017 at approximately 2337 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the area of Ponderosa Cir. and Highland Dr. on a drunk party. One adult male was contacted and taken into protective custody. Case closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 0018 hours, Longmont Police Officer were dispatched to 1800 block of Main Street, Longmont, CO in response to a domestic in progress. Exceptionally Cleared-Arrest Warrant Obtained.

DRUNK

On Thursday 122117 at approximately 0122 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded on a drunk person in the 300 block of Main St. One adult female was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. Case closed.

SHOPLIFT

An employee of a Longmont business in the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard reported a theft of beer by a known juvenile suspect. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

AUTO THEFT

On 12/21/17, a Longmont auto dealership in the 1300 block of Main Street reported the theft of a vehicle via check fraud. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.
