Police Report: August 7, 2017

ASSAULT On 08/06/2017 at approximately 2347 hours, Longmont Police took a report of an assault in the 1600 block of Main Street. Two adult males were later arrest for assault. The case was cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On 08/06/2017 at approximately 2347 hours, Longmont Police took a report of an assault in the 1600 block of Main Street. Two adult males were later arrest for assault. The case was cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Monday, August 7, 2017 at approximately 0900 hours Longmont Police investigated a vehicle trespass in the 200 block of Longspeak Ave. Unknown suspects entered a vehicle and stole property from within. This case is closed due to the lack of suspects and leads.

WARRANT ARREST

On Monday, 08/07/2017, Longmont Police investigated a suspicious incident in the 300 block of Baker Street. An adult male was contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant out of Boulder County. The male was taken into custody without incident and found to be in possession of a quantity of narcotics. The male was later transported to Boulder County jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On August 07, 2017 at approximately 3:00 p.m. a theft report was taken from the 1600 block of Heirloom Way. Officers contacted an adult female who reported several guns and pieces of jewery were stolen from her residence. Case is under investigation.

BURGLARY

On Monday, 08/07/17, a report was taken reference a burglary which occurred in the 2100 Blk. of Stuart St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

WARRANT ARREST

On 08/07/17 at approximately 1651 hours an adult male turned himself in to the Longmont Police Department for misdemeanor warrants. He was unable to post bond and was transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

 HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On July 28, 2017 the Longmont Police Department investigated a Hit and Run that occurred in the 4500 block of Redmond Dr. An arrest warrant will be requested for the driver of one of the involved vehicles.

INFORMATION

On August 4th 2017, Officers were dispatched to the area of 5th and Pace St. on report of a tree stump on fire. An information report was taken per the fire departments request. This case is closed.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman was bitten by a dog in the 600 block of Grandview Meadows Drive while breaking up a dog fight. The suspect dog has not been located at this time.THEFT

THEFT

On 8-6-17 an adult male resident of the 1300 block of 3rd Ave reported an unknown teen male stole an item from his front yard. There are no leads and the matter is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On August 7, 2017 Longmont Police responded to a cold domestic violence call. There was not enough evidence to charge any individuals.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Monday, 08/07/16, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and theft which occurred in the 1800 Blk. of Judson St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

WELFARE CHECK

On 08/07/2017 at approximately 1305 hours officers responded to a possibly intoxicated female party in the 1500 block of 18th Avenue, City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, USA 80501. Officers contacted the female party who was later transported to detox without incident. Case closed.

VICIOUS DOG

A juvenile male was bitten by a dog in the 4400 block of Redmond Drive. The dog owner was issued a summons. The dog was surrendered tothe Longmont Humane Society and placed on quarantine.

THEFT

On Monday, 08/07/17, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred at 30 S. Main by a known suspect. The case is under investigation.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont man was bitten by the family dog while trying to seperate a dog fight. The dog was quarantined at home.

THEFT

On August 7, 2017 the Longmont Police Department investigated a theft that occurred in the 300 block of Quail Rd. This case is closed with no suspect information.

 DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 08/07/17 at approximately 2018 hours police were dispatched to a domestic incident on the 800 block of Zachary Ct. An adult male was transported to LUH. The case is currently open.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Monday, August 7, 2017 a Longmont resident reported unknown juveniles had trespassed her vehicle and taken some property. This case is closed due to no suspect information.

On Monday, August 7, 2017 a Longmont resident reported an unknown person had trespassed her vehicle and taken some money from inside her vehicle. This case is closed due to no suspect information.
