THEFT

A Durango resident reported a theft in the 300 block of Sunset St reported a theft. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

AUTO THEFT

A Longmont business in the 000 block of Main St. reported a vehicle stolen. The case status is open for follow-up.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

On 08/17/17, Officers with the Longmont Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a wanted party. The suspect fled and officers did not pursue. Officers will follow up and attempt to locate the suspect.

SEX ASSAULT

On Friday 08/18/17, Longmont Police took a report of an assault that occurred in the 1500 block of 21st Ave. The case is open.

WELFARE CHECK

On 08-18-17 the Longmont Police Department assisted an outside agency by completing a welfare check on a client. The client was transported to the hospital for medical care. The case is closed.

CHILD

On August 18, 2017 the Longmont Police Department received a report of a possible sexual assault in the 1200 block of Atwood Street. A juvenile female reported possible sex trafficking. This case has been referred to Detective Division for followup.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Saturday, August 12th, 2017, Longmont Officers responded to the 900 block of Pasque Dr in reference to a domestic incident. A report was taken. Case closed.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont woman reported an aggressive dog incident involving her dog and a neighbor's dog.

SHOTS HEARD

On Wednesday, 8/16/2017 at approximately 2101 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of 19th Avenue and Meadow Street on a report of shots fired. Witnesses saw a white sedan leave the area. The case is closed.

INFORMATION

On Thursday August 17, 2017 around 9:17 AM, Officers wrote this information only report in the 2700 blk of Nelson Rd. The case is closed.

VICIOUS DOG

A man was bitten by his own dog while breaking up a dog fight while at Union Reservoir.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Thursday, August 17, 2017, at approximately 1922 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 3000 block of E. Ken Pratt Blvd for a 1st Degree Criminal Trespass. The case is closed lack of suspect information.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Thursday, August 17, 2017 officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the area of the Airport and St Vrain Rd reference a 1st degree criminal trespass. The case is still under investigation.

SHOTS HEARD

On Thursday 08/17/2017 at approximately 2313 hours police responded to the 200 block Caywood Court in relation to shots heard. Multiple calls were received from multiple location afterwards. Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle suspected to be involved but was not related. The driver was issued a City of Longmont summons for Curfew, and a Boulder County summons for traffic related offenses. The case is cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION

On 08/18/2017 Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Main St. After an investigation, the adult male driver was taken into custody for narcotic and traffic related charges. Case cleared by Arrest.

SEX ASSAULT

On Friday 08/18/2017 at approximately 0159 hours police responded to the 1400 block of Emery Court in relation to a welfare check. A sexual assault was disclosed and the location is unknown. The case will be recommended for follow-up with detectives and the case is open.

ASSAULT

On 081817 the Longmont Police Department took a report of an assault which occurred in the 300 block of Main Street. An adult female had obvious injuries to her face after having an altercation with another adult female. No third party witnesses observed the altercation. The female victim did not want to cooperate in the investigation at that time. This case is under investigation.

MENACING

On 08/18/2017, Longmont officers responded to the 2200 blk of Main St. reference a menacing. Case is open.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On 8/18/17 Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of S. Main St. reference an outside agency assist.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 08/18/2017 at approximately 1704 hours Longmont Officers responded to the 1800 block of Mount Sneffels. One adult female was placed on a mental health hold. Case is closed.

DUI

On Friday, August 18, 2017, Officers responded to the area of E Ken Pratt Blvd and County Line Rd. for a traffic crash. An adult female was taken into custody for driving under the influence of narcotics. The case is cleared by arrest.
