Police Report: April 12, 2018

DEATH On Thursday, 04/12/18, The Longmont Police Department responded to a residence in the southwest part of town, reference an adult male that had committed suicide. Upon arrival, an on-scene investigation and interviews were completed.

DEATH

On Thursday, 04/12/18, The Longmont Police Department responded to a residence in the southwest part of town, reference an adult male that had committed suicide. Upon arrival, an on-scene investigation and interviews were completed. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up. Case Status is Open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Thursday 04/12/2018 at 0903 hours a Longmont Police Officer investigated a domestic incident which took place at 3rd Avenue and Pace Street in the city of Longmont. This case is closed with no active leads.

MISSING PERSON

On Thursday, 04/12/18, The Longmont Police Department took a report of a missing person. An interview was completed, a 937 was completed entering them as missing in NCIC/CCIC. At this point, there is no other information to follow up on. Case Status is Closed.

WELFARE CHECK

On April 12, 2018, Longmont Police responded to the 1700 block of Main St on a welfare check. An adult male was contacted and found to have warrants. He was taken into custody and later transported to the Boulder County Jail.

SHOPLIFT

On Saturday, April 7, 2018 Longmont Police responded to the 500 blk of S. Hover St for a shoplift. An adult female was stopped with multiple clothing items. She was issued a summons and released on scene. Case cleared by arrest.

FRAUD

On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, Officers responded to the 1000 block of S. Hover St. reference a counterfeit $20 bill. The case is open.

SHOPLIFT

On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, Officers responded to the 500 block of S. Hover St. reference a shoplift. A male was issued a summons and released, the case is cleared by arrest.

HARASSMENT

On April 11, 2018 at approximately 1750 hrs Longmont police officers were dispatch to contact a party about cyber crimes. Case remains open.

THEFT

On 4-12-2018 a cell phone was reported stolen from the night before. The case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

On April 11, 2018, at approximately 2311 hrs Longmont police officers was dispatched to the 1300 block of Red Mountain Dr on the report of a vehicle break in. Case was closed.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On April 11, 2018 at approximately 2254 hours Longmont Police responded to the 500 block of Peregrine Cir on an anonymous tip of a suicide attempt/ child abuse. Case closed.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

On Thursday, 04-12-2018, Longmont Police was dispatched to a business in the 1200 blk of Main St on the report of an adult male with a warrant. The male was contacted and arrested on an outstanding California warrant. Cleared by Arrest.

WELFARE CHECK

On Thursday 04/12/2018 at 1209 hours, Longmont Police Officers investigated a death of a fifty-five year old man in the 1500 block of Lashley Street in the city of Longmont. This case is open and referred to Longmont Police Detectives.

WARRANT ARREST

On Thursday, April 12, 2018, at approximately 1527 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 1000 block of Kimbark in reference to an attempt to locate. A 17 year old female was arrested without incident for a probation violation. This case is cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY

On Thursday April 12, 2018 at approximately 1656 hours, Officer's responded to the 700 blk of Elliot St, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, for the report of a cold burglary. Case closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On 4/12/18, a Longmont resident in the area of 006 block of Main St., reported a person entered their vehicle and committed theft. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

SEX ASSAULT

On 041218, Officers were dispatched to take a call reference a sexual assault that happened in the 1600 block of Main St. An adult female reported being sexually assaulted by an adult male. The case is open.

VICIOUS DOG

On Thursday, April 12, 2018, at approximately 1857 hours, Longmont Police responded to the area of Airport Rd and St Vrain Rd in reference to an agressive animal. The owner, a 26 year old male, was issued a summons and released. This case is cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On Thursday, April 12, 2018 officers responded to a possible assault call in the area of Main St and 21st Ave. This case is closed.
