Police Report: April 1, 2018

AUTO THEFT On Sunday 04/01/2018 at approximately 0158 hours, Longmont Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle in the area of E 3rd Ave and Pace St. As a result of that traffic stop two adult males were arrested.

AUTO THEFT

On Sunday 04/01/2018 at approximately 0158 hours, Longmont Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle in the area of E 3rd Ave and Pace St. As a result of that traffic stop two adult males were arrested. This case is cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY

On Sunday, 04/01/2018, Longmont Police officers responded to the area of Longs Peak Ave and Coffman St in reference to a burglary. No suspects at this time. Closed.

FRAUD

Longmont Police responded to McDonalds North on a report of an attempted purchase with a counterfeit $20 bill. There are no suspects at this time.

SHOOTING

On 4-1-18 an adult male resident of the 400 block of Westview Ct reported an unknown person(s) damaged his rear house window by shooting it with a BB gun. The suspect(s) fled in a small car with loud exhaust. An officer located a similar car in the area and stopped it for a traffic violation. Two males in the vehicle had BB gun pistols and admitted having shot them in the area. They were cited and released. Cleared by arrest (Summons).

DISTURBANCE

On 040118 the Longmont Police Department responded to a fight in the 300 block of Main Street. Four adult females and at least one adult male were involved in a mutually combative altercation inside a business. Parties were separated and asked no charges be filed. Case closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday April 1, 2018 officers were dispatched to a domestic incident on the 1100 block of S. Gay St. No probable cause could be established and officers were unable to determine if the incident occured. The case is currently closed.

DISTURBANCE

Officers contacted an adult male in the 2100 block of Emery Street. The male was very intoxicated and was transported to Longmont United Hospital in protective custody.

BURGLARY

On April 1st, 2018 at approximately 1700 hours, Longmont Police were disapatched to a burglary in the 1000 block of Sunset Drive Longmont, CO. This case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

MISSING PERSON

On Sunday, April 1, 2018, at approximately 1845 hours, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd, Longmont, CO in response to a reported runaway juvenile. The juvenile returned to the facility a few hours later. Case Closed.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Sunday, April 1, 2018 Longmont Police Officers responded to the 1700 block of Main Street in reference to a disturbance. A 30 year old male was arrested for a protection order violation. The case was cleared by the arrest.
