FRAUD

A Longmont resident in the 2900 block of University Avenue reported a theft and forgery of a business check. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

SEX ASSAULT

On Wednesday, 8/8/18, Longmont Police received information from the Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services regarding an allegation of a sex assault on a child. The incident was determined to have taken place outside of the City of Longmont and the investigation was forwarded to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

BURGLARY

On August 16, 2018, Longmont Police responded to the 2000 block of Ridgeview Drive on the report of a Burglary/Auto Theft. Case open

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On August 16, 2018, a vehicle trespass report was received from the 300 block of Mumford Ave. An adult male reported his vehicle was entered and property was stolen from inside.

DUI

Longmont Police responded to 1302 17th Avenue on a report of a suicidal male. After further investigation, an adult male was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to Boulder County Jail.

DISTURBANCE

On Thursday, August 16, 2018, at approximately 2150 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 1500 block of Main St for a reported disturbance. This case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On 08/15/18 at 1415 hrs. a Longmont Police Officer was assigned a warrant arrest in the municipal court. An adult male was contacted and taken into custody. He was later released on bond. Case cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A City of Longmont employee reported an incident of vandalism to a city building in the 1000 block of Lashley Street. A report was taken for information only.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Wednesday, August 15th, 2018, Longmont Officers responded to the 1700 block of Main on a disturbance. An adult male was issued a summons. Case cleared by arrest-summons

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Wednesday, August 15th, 2018, Longmont Officers responded to the 2400 block of 9th ave on a hit and run. The case is open.

LOST PROPERTY

On August 15, 2018, Longmont Police took a report of lost property in the 200 block of South Pratt Parkway. Case Closed.

AUTO THEFT

On Thursday, 08/16/18, a report was taken reference an aggravated motor vehicle theft and theft which occurred in the 2000 Blk. of Ridgeview Dr. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

ASSAULT

On Thursday, 08/16/2018 at approximately 1230 hours, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Main St. in response to a trespassing issue. This case is closed.

SHOPLIFT

Longmont Police responded to King Soopers (2255 Main Street) on a report of a shoplift in progress. After an investigation, an adult male was issued a municipal summons and released at the scene.

WARRANT ARREST

On 08/16/2018 at approximately 1400 hours, Longmont Police Officers responded to the 1000 block of Kimbark St for the report of a female who violated her probation and had a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody without incident. Cleared by arrest.

FOLLOW UP

On Thursday, August 16, 2018, Longmont Police responded to the 1500 blk of Professional Ln on a recovered stolen vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and owner notified. Case is closed.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Thursday, August 16, 2018, Officers responded to the 300 block of Martin St. reference a crash. It was later determined the crash was an intentional act leading to a Criminal Mischief and Reckless driving. The reckless driver left the scene and the case is open.

VICIOUS DOG

On Thursday, 08/16/18, at1700 hours, animal control was contacted by the post office regarding a loose aggressive dog. Owner was given a summons.

DRUG VIOLATION

On Thursday, August 16, 2018, Longmont Police responded to the 1200 blk of Ken Pratt Blvd for an intoxicated male. The male was located with a small amount of meth in his pocket. He also had warrants. He was taken into custody while attempting to fight with officers. He was medically cleared and transported to Boulder County Jail. Cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 08/16/2018 officers made contact with an adult male in the 1600 block of Main St. After investigation it was found that the male had a Longmont Municipal warrant. The adult male was arrested. Case is cleared by arrest.
