Longmont Police Report: September 5, 2018

PROTECTION ORDER On 09-05-18 the Longmont Police investigated a restraining order violation. The victim and suspect, in this case, were juveniles. An arrest warrant was completed. The case is closed.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 09-05-18 the Longmont Police investigated a restraining order violation. The victim and suspect, in this case, were juveniles. An arrest warrant was completed. The case is closed.

SEX ASSAULT

On 083018 LPD received a social services report concerning an assault from a juvenile male against his juvenile sister over a year ago in the 1400 block of Collyer St. Case is open for investigation.

SHOPLIFT

On Tuesday, 09/04/2018 Longmont Police officers responded to the area of Ken Pratt Blvd and S. Main St in reference to a theft. No suspects were contacted. Case closed - Lack of Leads.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at approximately 1728 hours, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East 5th Avenue on an adult male who was known to have warrants for his arrest. The male was not located however it was determined that he violated the conditions of a mandatory protection order. An additional arrest warrant will be obtained and the case is open.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Tuesday, 09/04/18 at approximately 2143 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to call a party in regards to a criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 1300-block of S Lincoln St. An unknown suspect threw house paint onto a parked vehicle. Case is closed.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Wednesday 090518 at approximately 0057 hours, the Longmont Police Department investigated a protection order in the 2000 block of McCall Pl. Case is open.

DUI

On Wednesday, 9-5-18, officers contacted a vehicle for speeding on Airport Rd at Rogers Rd. It was determined the driver was under the influence of marijuana and was subsequently arrested for DUID. Case cleared by arrest.

TRAFFIC STOP

On 09/05/2018 at approximately 0900 hours, Longmont Officer contacted a vehicle for registration violations in the 300 block of Baker St. The driver was found to have a revoked license. The driver was released on a summons after booking. This incident was cleared by summons.

VICIOUS DOG

A man was bitten by an unknown dog on Wednesday, 09/05/18, at 21st and Gay.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont resident reported criminal tampering which occurred in the 1800 block of Duchess drive. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

THEFT

On Wednesday, 09/5/18, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 2300 Wedgewood Ave. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont juvenile was bitten by the family.

CHILD

On 09/05/2018 (Wednesday) at approximately 1620 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block Francis Street on the report of a 10 year old boy who had left the home and was heading to a local park. Officers responded and reunited the parent with the child. The case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, 09/05/2018, Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Rees Ct, Longmont, CO 80501 on a disturbance between a male and female. Police investigated and documented their findings. Case closed.

BURGLARY

On Wednesday, September 5, 2018, Police responded to a burglary on the 3100 block of Lakeshore Dr. A garage was entered but no items were taken. The case is currently closed.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Wednesday, 9/5/18, Longmont Police officers were called to a community corrections facility in the 200 block of Main St. to take custody of an adult male who violated placement rules for a Weld County court case. The adult male was arrested without incident, booked at the Longmont Police Department and transported to the Boulder County Jail, pending transfer to the Weld County Jail.
