A Longmont resident in the 2400 block of Mapleton Circle reported a theft from his unlocked vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On June 19, 2018 at about 0903 hours, the LPD was dispatched to a traffic accident in the area of Mountain View Ave and Atwood St. A summons was issued to the driver that caused the crash. Investigation later revealed the driver provided some false identification information. False Reporting to Authorities charge was added and the case is cleared by arrest, summons issued.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 091618 the Longmont Police Department responded to a domestic in the 2400 block of 9th Avenue. A 30-year-old female reported a 31-year-old male threw items at her. The male denied anything physical occurred and there was no independent witness. Case closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 09/16/2018 Longmont police received a report of a disturbance in the 800 block of S. Sherman St.. Upon arrival, officers located an injured adult female, who claimed her boyfriend had struck her. The adult male boyfriend was located a short distance away, and was taken into custody without incident. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On September 17, 2018, the Longmont Police Department investigated a domestic violence-related disturbance in the 1200 block of E. 9th Avenue. This case is open.

DISTURBANCE

On Thursday, 091318 officers responded to Spangler Park on a reported disturbance. Following an investigation, two juvenile females were issued summons for fighting in public.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

The Longmont Police Department investigated a domestic incident at 17th Av/Collyer St. Case is unfounded.

INFORMATION

On September 17, 2018 Longmont Police were notified of a potential neglect to an at-risk adult that happened on September 12, 2018 in the 1600 block of Otis Dr. This case is open pending further interviews.

WARRANT ARREST

On Monday, 09-17-2018, Police contacted an adult male in the 1500 block of Main Street. Police discovered the male was wanted on an active warrant out of Ft. Collins Police Department. The male was also in possession of narcotics. The male was placed into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case closed.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Monday 9-17-2018, Officers responded to the 400 block of Emery Dr on a report of a suspicious male. The male was located and placed on a mental health hold. Case closed.

FRAUD

On Monday 9-17-2018, Officers took a report of a cold fraud that occurred in the 1600 block of Vivian St. Case closed.

DISTURBANCE

On Monday, September 17, 2018, at approximately 1738 hours, officers contacted

VICIOUS DOG

An employee at Valley Vet South was bitten by a dog coming out of surgery. The dog was placed on quarantine at home.

MENACING

On Sunday, September 17, 2018 officers responded to the 2200 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd in regards to a potential felony menacing. Officers contacted a male who stated he was involved in a road rage incident where another party pulled a knife on him. After investigation the party did not wish to pursue charges. Case closed.

THEFT

On 09/16/2018, at approximately 1545 hours, Longmont Police Department took a report of an auto trespass in the area of 1400 Venice St, an area in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, and State of Colorado. A report was taken and the case is open pending further investigation.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

On Sunday, September 16, 2018, officers were dispatched to an accident in the 700 block of Sunset Street. The investigation determined that one of the drivers involved was under the influence of alcohol. That driver was placed under arrest. The case is cleared by arrest.

INJURED ANIMAL

An adult female was bitten by a sick cat in the 1700 block of Tulip Street. The cat was transported to the vet for treatment.

FIRE

On September 17, 2018 Longmont Police and Fire responded to the 300 block of 15th Avenue for a fire on a deck. The fire was extinguished quickly and no one was injured aside from some smoke inhalation. There do not appear to be suspicious circumstances to the fire and this report is for informational purposes. This case is closed.

BURGLARY

The Longmont Police Department investigated a garage burglary in the 1600 block of Brown Ct. Case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, September 19, 2018 officers responded to the 700 block of Collyer St in regards to a domestic incident that occurred. After investigation a male had assaulted a female. The male was taken into custody. Cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION

On 09-17-18 the Longmont police assisted the fire department on a medical call regarding an unconscious person. After investigating the circumstances it was learned the male was addicted to using illegal drugs, and wanted help to quit. The police LEAD Program was consulted and the male was referred to a substance abuse counselor. The case is closed.

MENACING

On 9/17/18, officers responded to the 10,000 block of WCR 1 on the report of a possible menacing. Officers contacted all parties involved. An adult male was placed into custody and transported to Weld County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

PEDESTRIAN CONTACT

On 09-17-18 at approximately 0353 hrs. an adult female was arrested in the 2300 block of Main St. for two warrants. She was transported to the Boulder County Jail.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 9/17/18, officers responded to 1700 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd on the report of a cold Domestic Violence incident. Both involved parties were contacted and a report was completed for informational purposes. This case is closed.
