Sunday, October 21

THEFT

On 10/21/2018, Longmont olice responded to the 800 block of Lincoln St. referencing a cold theft report. Police investigated the matter, and no arrests have been made at this time. The case is currently closed.

WELFARE CHECK

On October 21, 2018 at approximately 2037 hours, officers responded to the 600 block of Main St. One adult male was placed on a mental health hold. Case is closed.

THEFT

On Sunday, October 21, 2018 at about 1700 hours, officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1200 block of S. Hover Street, Longmont, CO for the report of a cold theft. The suspect was later identified and released on a summons. Case closed.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On October 18, 2018 at approximately 1950 hours, officers responded to the 1700 block of Calkins Ave. on a report of a hit and run. City property was damaged, there is no suspect information. Case is closed.

SHOPLIFT

On Saturday, October 20, 2018 at about 2148 hours, officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 550 block of S. Hover St., Longmont, CO for the report of a theft. Suspect had already left the scene in an unknown direction. The suspects were not identified. Case closed.

VICIOUS DOG

On 10/21/18, Sunday, a Longmont male was bit by a dog that he was considering adopting. The dog has been located and was put on quarantine.

CHILD

On Sunday 10/21/2018 at approximately 0048 hours, police responded to 5600 Mount Sanitas Avenue in relation to a disturbance, later determined to be a child abuse. The case will be closed due to lack of evidence.

BURGLARY

On Sunday, October 21, 2018 at about 0055 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Elmhurst Drive on a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, officers found a person had entered an unlocked vehicle, opened the garage door, and then took a bicycle out of the garage. Case closed.

DUI

On Sunday, 10/21/18, around 0141 hours, Longmont police conducted a traffic stop near E. 9th Ave/Lashley St. The 22 year-old male driver was later arrested for driving under the influence.

WARRANT ARREST

On Sunday, October 21, 2018, at approximately 0300 hours,the Longmont Police Department was dispatched to the 300 block of Quail Rd., on a possible domestic incident. One adult male was arrested for violation of a protection order and an outstanding felony warrant. The case is cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

On 10/21/18, a Longmont male was bit by his dog, the dog was placed on quarantine at home.

DISTURBANCE

On 10/21/18, officers responded to a family disturbance in the 900 block of Pasque Dr. A juvenile female was arrested. Case is cleared by arrest.

SHOPLIFT

On Sunday, October 21, 2018, at approximately 1700 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. in response to a reported shoplift. Currently there are no suspects. Case closed.

HARASSMENT

On Sunday, October 21, 2018, police responded to the area of 9th Ave./Martin St. reference possible witness tampering. An adult male reported possible witness tampering in his civil case. The case is currently under investigation.

Saturday, October 20

DEATH

On October 20, 2018, Longmont Police responded on the report of a medical call in the 2400 block of Main St. An adult male was found to be deceased. There are no suspicious circumstances and the case is closed.

TRESPASS

On Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at approximately 0800 hours, Longmont police investigated a trespass in the 100 block of Reed Pl. An adult female unknown to the resident entered the house behaving strangely and then left. The resident chose not to pursue criminal charges, however the adult female suspect was later contacted and issued a written warning for trespassing. Case closed.

THEFT

On Friday, October 19, 2018 at approximately 1100 hours, Longmont police took a theft report in the 200 block of Main St. An adult female reported her wallet stolen. Due to the lack of leads this case is closed.

ASSIST

On Friday October 19th, 2018, at approximately 2200 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to contact a party by phone reference domestic violence. Police contacted an adult female. The case is closed. This report for information only.

THEFT

On Friday, October 19, 2018 at about 2211 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Sunset Street on a report of a theft. Case open.

MENACING

On October 19, 2018 at approximately 2200 hours, officers responded to the 2200 block of Vivian St. 3 juvenile males reported 2 unknown male suspects pointed a gun at them. Case is closed due to a lack of investigative leads.

DISTURBANCE

On 10/19/18, officers responded to the 1300 block of Walden Ct. on the report of a male party out of control. It was determined the adult male needed a mental health evaluation. He was transported to a medical center and placed on a Mental Health Hold. This case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 10/20/18, officers responded to the 300 block of Main St. reference a disturbance between adult males and females. The case is open.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On 10/20/2018, Longmont officers responded to the 2000 block of Sunlight Dr. reference a hit and run crash. Driver was eventually located and was placed in custody. Case cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Saturday 10/19/2018 police responded to the 500 block Main Street in relation to a disturbance. A glass smash was discovered during the course of the investigation that occurred in the 300 block of Main Street. The case will be closed due to lack of evidence.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Saturday October 20th, 2018 Longmont officers were called to a cold FDC of a vehicle in the 500 block of Cherrywood Dr. At this time the case is closed.

FRAUD

On October 10th, 2018 at approximately 1445 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to a fraud that occurred in the 2500 block of Main St. Longmont, CO. This case is open pending further investigation.

SHOPLIFT

On Saturday October 20, 2018 at approximately 1634 hours, officers responded to the 2500 block of Main St, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, for the report of a theft. Cleared by summons.

AUTO THEFT

On Saturday, October 20th, 2018, Longmont officers took a report of a stolen scooter from the 1300 block of Emery. Case closed.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On October 20th, 2018 at approximately 1830 hours, Longmont police responded to the 2700 block of Pheasant Dr. Longmont, CO in reference to a suicidal juvenile female. This case is closed.

Friday, October 19

MISSING PERSON

On Thursday, October 18, 2018, officers were dispatched on a report of a missing adult male in the 200 block of Airport Rd. The case has been referred to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office and the Longmont case is closed.

FRAUD

On October 19, 2018, a fraud report was received from the 1700 block of Whitehall Drive. An adult male reported he was a victim of a scam where money was stolen from him. Case is closed.

FOUND PROPERTY

Longmont police responded to the 0000 block of N. 119th Street on a report of a recovered gun safe. A report was completed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday October 19, 2018, at approximately 1400 hours, officers took a cold domestic disturbance which occurred at the 2500 block of Sunset Dr., in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Thursday, October 18, 2018, officers responded to the 600 block of Main St. reference a hit and run involving a drunk driver. An adult female was taken into custody. The case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On Thursday, October 18, 2018 at about 2318 hours, Longmont police arrested an adult female in the 2400 block of Main Street on a Weld County warrant for failure to comply. The female was transported to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office and held without bond.

MENACING

On Friday October 19, 2018, at approximately 0040 hours, officers responded to the 4100 block of Da Vinci Dr. on a report of a felony menacing in progress. A 29 year-old male reported a 41 year-old male pointed a firearm at him. This case is under investigation.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Friday 10/19/18 at approximately 0350 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 300 block of Chinook Ave. on a suicidal female. One adult female was placed on a protective hold without incident. Case closed.

THEFT

On Friday 10/19/2018 at approximately 0705 hours, police responded to the 900 block South Hover Street in relation to a burglary, later determined to be a theft. The case will be closed due to lack of suspect information.

AUTO THEFT

On Friday, 10/19/18, a report was taken reference an aggravated motor vehicle theft and theft which occurred in the 900 block of S. Hover St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

TRESPASS

On Friday, October 19, 2018 at approximately 0824 hours, Longmont Police and Fire responded to a fire beneath the railroad trestle over the St. Vrain River, South of the intersection of Bowen Circle and Price Rd. The fire was quickly extinguished. The fire was a transient camp that was unoccupied. The cause of the fire was undetermined, this report is for informational purposes and this case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On 10/19/18 at 1029 hrs. an adult male with a Boulder County warrant was taken into custody in Firestone. A Longmont police officer responded and took custody of the adult male and transported him to the Boulder County Jail. The case was cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On Friday, 10-19-2018, Longmont police received a report of a cold assault that occurred in the 1800 block of 3rd Ave. The assault was from 8 months ago. Due to the time delay and the lack of corroborating evidence, this case will be closed.

ANIMAL FOLLOW UP

On 10/19/18, Friday, Animal Control was notified about a dog bite that occurred on 10/16/18.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On 10/19/2018 officers investigated a first degree criminal trespass in the 1300 block of Vivian St. After investigation it was found that a purse was stolen. The case will be closed due to lack of suspect information.

SEX ASSAULT

On 10/19/2018, Longmont police took a report of a possible sexual assault incident which occurred in the city limits of Longmont on 10/13/2018. A report was taken and the case is closed.

MENACING

On October 19, 2018, Longmont police responded to the report of a menacing in the 1600 block of Emery St. An adult male was contacted and placed on a mental health hold. This case is closed.
