Longmont Police Report: October 17, 2018

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF An employee of the City of Longmont reported criminal mischief and theft in the 1100 block of S. Sherman Street. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information. DOMESTIC INCIDENT On 10-16-18 at 2325 hrs.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

An employee of the City of Longmont reported criminal mischief and theft in the 1100 block of S. Sherman Street. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 10-16-18 at 2325 hrs., officers responded to a physical domestic in the 1300 block of Emery Street. An adult male resident was arrested. Cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On Wednesday, 10/17/18, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 1600 block of Kimbark St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

WARRANT ARREST

On October 17, 2018 Longmont officers contacted an adult female in the 1000 block of Kimbark Street in reference to the female having outstanding warrants. She was contacted and arrested. This case is Cleared by Arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

Longmont police responded to the 1200 block of Monarch Avenue on a report of a Protection Order Violation. An adult male was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail.

SHOOTING

Police received a call of an accidental shooting at in the 800 block of Grandview Meadows Drive. A 61 year-old male was unloading his handgun and accidentally shot himself in the leg. He was transported to the hospital and no charges are pending.

CHILD

On 06/18/18 Longmont Police investigated a Weld County HHS report of possible child abuse in the 1500 block of S. Vivian St. in December 2017. The alleged victim and family were found living out of state. The juvenile was contacted and reported being OK with no abuse. Case is closed.

DISTURBANCE

On Thursday, 10/11/18 officers responded to an assault in the 600 block of E. Mountain View Ave. Following an investigation, a juvenile male was referred to the school for services. The case is closed.

WELFARE CHECK

Officers were called to the 800 block of Emery Street on the report of a suicidal party. Officers were able to make contact with an adult male who had made an attempt to commit suicide. The male was taken on a protective custody hold. The case is closed.

CURFEW/JUVI PROBLEM

On Tuesday, October 16, 2018, Longmont police responded to the 800 block of Lashley St. on a report of a lost child. Child was returned to parents and Department of Human and Health Services has been notified. Case closed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, October 17, 2018, Longmont police responded to the 1700 block of Main St. in reference to a report of criminal mischief. A 44 year-old male suspect was located and identified. The victim declined to pursue charges. The case is exceptionally cleared.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at approximately 1630 hours, officers were contacted by an adult male regarding a protection order violation. The male had received messages from another adult male which was in violation of the protection order. The restrained male was contacted and placed under arrest for violating the protection order and for violating the conditions of his bond. He was transported to the Boulder County Jail and released into their custody. The case is cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On Wednesday, October 17, 2018, Longmont police took a report of an assault in the 1300 block of Jade Ln. There are several juvenile suspects. Case open.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Wednesday 10-17-2018, officers took an informational report on a child protection case in the 3600 block of Yale Dr. Case closed.

SHOPLIFT

On 10/17/2018, at approximately 1652 hours, Longmont police responded to a business in the 1200 block of S. Hover St, in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, and State of Colorado reference a theft in progress. One adult female was contacted and summonsed for theft. Case cleared by arrest.
