Longmont Police Report: Oct. 16, 2019

FRAUD On 10/16/2019, the Longmont Police Detective Division was notified a pawn broker violation (False Information to a Pawnbroker) had occurred in the 1200 block of Main St. A suspect has been identified and an investigation is being conducted.

FRAUD

On 10/16/2019, the Longmont Police Detective Division was notified a pawn broker violation (False Information to a Pawnbroker) had occurred in the 1200 block of Main St. A suspect has been identified and an investigation is being conducted.

THEFT

On Wednesday, 10/16/19, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 700 Blk. of 9th Ave. The suspect is unknown.

DEATH

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, officers responded to the 300 block of Quail Rd for a medical assist. An investigation was conducted and a report was generated.

THEFT

On 10/16/19, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 500 Blk. of Emery St. The suspects are unknown.

FRAUD

A mandatory report was made regarding concerns an elderly man was being taken advantage of financially. The man disputes he is a victim to any crime. The case is closed.

DRUG VIOLATION

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, Longmont Police Officers assisted the Colorado Department of Corrections with a Parole Violation. A 40-year-old male was later arrested from the 1100 block of Emery St.

VICIOUS DOG

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at approximately 1930 hours officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East 8th Avenue on a fight involving two dogs. Officers determined that one dog gained access to the neighbors yard through a hole in the fence dividing the backyards. One dog was slightly injured.

DUI

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, Police responded to the 200 block Coffman St on a reported DUI. An adult female was contacted in her vehicle after a minor traffic accident. She was later arrested on DUI charges and transported to jail.

SHOPLIFT

An employee of a Longmont, CO business located in the 2500 block of Main Street reported a theft of merchandise by unknown suspects.

SEX ASSAULT

On October 14, 2019 at approximately 1600 hours the Longmont Police Department took a report of a sex assault that occurred in the 1600 Block of Geneva Circle in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, State of Colorado. A report was taken and the case is open.

MITTIMUS ARREST

On 10/15/19 at 1321 hrs. an adult male turned himself in on an active warrant in the Longmont Municipal Court. The adult male was taken into custody and was booked on the warrant. The adult male posted bond and was released from custody. The case was cleared by arrest.

ROBBERY

On Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at about 2317 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Pratt Street on a report of an assault. Upon arrival officers found a juvenile male was involved in an altercation and his cellular telephone was taken from him.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On October 16, 2019 Longmont Police responded to Good Samaritan Hospital on the report of cold domestic incident. Officers gathered available information. No suspect was identified.

WARRANT ARREST

On 101619, officers contacted an adult male and female in the 300 block of Main St. The adult female was found to have two warrants. The case is cleared by arrest.

TRAFFIC STOP

On Wednesday, 10/16/19 at approximately 1626 hours, Longmont Police attempted to stop a vehicle near S Bross St and Kansas Ave. The driver fled in the vehicle and then later on foot. The driver was positively identified and arrested a short distance away. The case is cleared by arrest.
