SEX ASSAULT

On Monday, July 8, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 000 block of Valentine Lane in response to a cold sex assault. A report was taken and the investigation remains open.

AUTO THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported a commercial vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue. There are no investigative leads.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

An employee of a Longmont business reported damage to a vehicle. There are no investigative leads.

THEFT

On July 8, 2019, a theft report was received from the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. An adult male reported money was stolen from his business.

HARASSMENT

On Monday, July 8, 2019, officers took a phone call in response to a harassment. An investigation is being conducted and the case is open.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

Longmont police assisted the Boulder County D.A.'s office with a search warrant. All inquiries and questions should be addressed to the Boulder County D.A.'s office.

THEFT

On Sunday, July 1, 2019, Longmont police took a phone report of theft from the 00 block of 9th Avenue. A resident had tapped back into the city's electricity after it had been shut off. Several attempts were made to contact suspects with no success. This case will be closed unless further information develops.

FOLLOW UP

On Friday, 7/5/19, a homemade firework was turned in to Longmont Fire Station #4 located at 501 23rd Avenue for destruction.

ASSAULT

On 7/7/19, Longmont police responded to the 1700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard in response to an assault. An adult male allegedly assaulted an adult female. A report was taken and the case is still open.

DUI

On July 7, 2019, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 11th Avenue for an intoxicated driver. An adult male was arrested.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday, 7/7/19, Longmont officers were dispatched to a domestic incident in the 100 block of Chinook Place.

WELFARE CHECK

On 7/7/19, Longmont police responded to the 1000 block of Sunset Street to conduct a welfare check on a suicidal adult male. The male was contacted at the residence and placed on a mental-health hold. He was later transported to Longs Peak Hospital for the hold. This case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On July 8, 2019, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Main Street in  reference to a trespass. Through their investigation they contacted an adult male who later came back as wanted on multiple outstanding warrants. He was taken into custody without incident.

FOLLOW UP

On Monday, July 8, 2019, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

VICIOUS DOG 

On Monday, 7/8/19, a woman was bitten by a dog when she went and knocked on the door. The dog ran out and bit her on the leg. She was going to treat the wound herself. The dog was quarantined and the owner warned.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Monday, 7/8/19, Longmont officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Creekside Drive on a criminal mischief. No suspects were located.

WARRANT ARREST

On Monday, July 8, 2019, Longmont police responded to the 1000 block of Kimbark Street on a warrant arrest. Adult male was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case was cleared by arrest.

MENACING

On July 8, 2019, at approximately 1833 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to a menacing that occurred in the area of 700 Block of 15th Avenue. Summons were issued to an adult male and a juvenile male.

FRAUD

On Monday, 7/8/19, Longmont officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Kimbark Street on a report of fraud. One adult male was contacted. Investigation on going. This case is open.

DISTURBANCE

On 7/8/19 around 2000 hours officers contacted an irate male in the 2500 block of Main Street. The male made suicidal statements and was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

THEFT 

On Monday July 8, 2019, Longmont officers responded to the 1000 block of Main Street on a call of theft. An adult female and male were suspected of taking money from another adult male victim. There was no identifiable suspect information and the victim did not wish to press charges.

WARRANT ARREST

On 7/8/19, an adult female was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 200 block of Kimbark Street.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 7/8/19, officers responded to the 600 block of South Emery Street on a welfare check. An adult male was found intoxicated and in violation of a protection order. He was placed into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. This case was cleared by arrest.
