Longmont Police Report: July 30, 2018

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident in the 00 block of University Drive reported a theft from his unlocked vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 7/30/18, officers responded to the 400 block of Atwood St on the report of a verbal disturbance. An adult male and an adult female were contacted. As a result of the investigation, the female was placed into custody for criminal mischief/Domestic Violence. She was transported to Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On July 30, 2018 a theft report was received from the 1100 block of Colorado Ave. An adult male reported his flatbed trailer was stolen from his lot. There is no suspect information. Case closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On July 30, 2018 a vehicle trespass report was received from the 2200 block of Main Street. An adult female reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and personal items stolen from inside. Case closed.

FRAUD

On July 30, 2018 an identity theft report was received from the 1600 block of Pace Street. An adult female reported her debit card was used to make a fraudulent purchase. There is no suspect information. Case closed.

FRAUD

On July 30, 2018 a identity theft report was received from the 1600 block of Hover Street. An adult male reported his debit card was stolen and used to make fraudulent purchases. This case if open.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Monday 07/30/18, Longmont Police responded to the 300 block of Quail Rd reference a menacing. An adult male was arrested for violation of a protection order and violation of bond conditions. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, July 30th 2018, Officers responded to a report of a domestic incident in the 1800 block of Antero Drive. An adult male was arrested on domestic violence related charges, 6 warrants, and protection order violations. Case is cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On July 30th, 2018 at approximately 1820 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to first degree criminal trespass in the 900 block of Venice Street Longmont, CO. Four juvenile parties were contacted. Case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

On 072718 the Longmont Police Department responded to a suspicious incident of a male pushing a dirt bike in the area of Frontage Road. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect and it was later determined the dirt bike was stolen from a business in the area. Case closed due to a lack of investigative leads.

PROTECTION ORDER

On July 29, 2018 Longmont Police took a report of a protection order violation on Emerson Place. The adult female suspect is going to turn herself in and this case will remain open until that time.

CHILD

On Sunday, July 29, 2018 officers responded to the 4500 block of Redmond Dr in regards to a male toddler wandering around the area alone. A female was later contacted and the child was returned. This case was forwarded onto Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services. This case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday, 07/29/2018 at about 1309 hours Officers from the Longmont Police Department, were dispatched to a physical domestic situation in the 2200 block of Collyer Street in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder and State of Colorado. After investigation, a 43 year old male was arrested on attmepted homicide as well as other charges. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On July 29th, 2018, Officers attempted to make a traffic stop in the intersection of 2nd Ave and Coffman Street. The adult male driver fled on foot and was located a few blocks away. He was arrested on prior outstanding warrants and DUI related charges. Case cleared by arrest.

CHILD

On 072918 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Antero Drive on a juvenile problem. The juveniles were initially believed to be missing, but were found. The juveniles were afraid of getting in trouble for sneaking out and fabricated a story. This report was taken for informational purposes only.

TRESPASS

On 07/29/2018 Longmont Police responded to the 2200 block of 14th Ave., reference unknown persons unlawfully entering a vacant apartment. A witness reportedly saw two males inside of an apartment from which the prior tenants had been evicted. Upon arrival, Officers found no persons inside of the apartment.

WARRANT ARREST

On July 30th, 2018, Officers contacted three adult males after hours in a park at 1900 Collyer Street. One male was found to have an active arrest warrant and was arrested. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On Monday July 30, 2018 the Longmont Police arrested a female on an outstanding warrant. The female was booked, then transported to the Boulder County Jail. Cleared by arrest.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On July 30, 2018 Longmont Police took a report of a domestic violence incident that occurred in Thornton CO. This case will be forwarded to the appropriate jurisdiction and is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On July 30, 2018, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 20 block of Bowen St. reference a trespass. Officers contacted a adult male in the area and it was later learned that he had an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

MENACING

On Monday, July 30, 2018 Longmont Police Responded to the 300 block of Quial Rd in regards to a female being menaced. Officers arrived on scene and suspects were not located. Case open for followup from detectives.

WARRANT ARREST

On July 30, 2018, Longmont Police Officers responded to the 500 block of Hover St. reference a trespass. Officers arrived in the area and contacted an adult male. It was later learned the adult male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 07/30/2018 at approximatley 1550 hours, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Emery St. The driver of the vehicle was arrested on multiple warrants. This case was cleared by arrest.

ROBBERY

On Monday, July 30, 2018, at approximately 1632 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 800 block of E. 17th Ave for robbery. An investigation was conducted. Case closed lack suspect information.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Monday 073018 at approximately 2226 hours, the Longmont Police Department received a report of a criminal mischief in the 2400-blk of Tyrrhenian Dr. Case closed due to lack of suspect information.
